Should I be nosy?
So I live in an apartment and for the longest time, I'd hear the neighbors behind us fighting. One day about a month ago, I came home and could hear the girl (it's a couple who lives there) crying and sobbing in her bathroom for like an hour. The only other time I've cried like that when I was being cheated on, and I figured it was something like that. Later that night my hubby and I could hear them screaming and throwing eachother against the wall. Within minutes one of them left, tearing out of the parking lot. (This was about a month ago.)
Since then, nothing, no fights at all. But it is the weirdest thing. Their bathroom is on the other side of the wall of our bathroom, so I can hear when they're talking in there and showering/whatever. I swear, I don't eavesdrop, if anything it was impossible not to hear them when they were screaming and fighting and it was kind of irritating. But anyway, I hear the shower going, ALL THE TIME. They have their shower and fan on for about four - five hours at a time. What the hell are they doing? Not only does it piss me off b/c they're wasting water and our bills are based on the bill for the building, just split up for each apartment, but it kind of concerns me.
I know it sounds crazy, but do you think they might have a meth lab or something? Or do you think one of them might have killed the other one? It's just so odd that we haven't heard ANYTHING but the showering in a month, when we always used to hear them screaming. I know it really seems far fetched, and I guess I have a huge imagination, but what in the hell could the possibly be doing in there? Any ideas?

Re: Should I be nosy?
Maybe they have been turning the shower on so you can't hear them.

Re: Should I be nosy?
That would be thoughtful, because it was incredibly obnoxious when we could...

Re: Should I be nosy?
Always follow your gut instinct, it's there for a reason. If it turns out to be nothing you will be relieved. And then know they are running up water bills being jerks.
Just remain anonymous when calling the PD, if you go that route.
Good luck.

Re: Should I be nosy?
Hey I was wondering where you went, RachelleD. Nice to see you again.
Meth lab is possible, home cookers "vent"/dry it in the bathroom. It could also explain the fights.
DO call the cops because if someone is cooking meth in the apartment complex toxic fumes can get into the ventilation system and make innocent people sick.

Re: Should I be nosy?
sounds fishy to me. If your gut instinct is that something really bad has or is going on I'd make a call to the cops to investigate. The gut is usally not wrong. If it's nothing then great but if it is something you may have saved a life.

Re: Should I be nosy?
Id call because that is very strange. Have you seen them both recently? If it is a drug this that makes it really dangerous for you. I'd call for your own safety, not even considering it being "nosy".

I'm make an anonymous call to the PD. Trust your gut. If you don't and something IS going on, you'll end up kicking yourself.
