Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
Many ppl forget to do this. It helps keep you skin and hair in good condition in the drying heat you may have in your house/apt./whathaveyou.
Of course, those of you in humid climates may not need this, but it's always better to err on the side of moisture instead of dryness.
I use the steam/hot one, instead of the cool mist one in the winter. Got it at walgreens for under $20. I keep it running most of the time in the corner of whatever room I spend the most time in.
Just thought I'd remind everyone...:)

Great advice. Ask my snakes... seriously if they could answer you they would tell you.
Humidity in dry weather is a must! It keeps our skin moist, hair, and lungs! Major plus. ;)
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
I give it a thumbs up too. I need to steam right now actually, I have a nasty bug.
And we put one in baby girls room last night and she slept through the night for the second time ever. So I'm a proponent.
Ours was espensive though. I saw some at Rite Aid for about $60 and then we got this nicer one on line for a bit more.
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
I have a cold air vaporizer and it works okay in the winter, I guess. I really want a steam one though.
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
Couldn't survive the winters without mine.. And a plus, they help you furniture too!
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
I am thinking of getting a small one for my dorm room. The heating system is about 30 years old and on permanent blast mode. My skin is super dry and my hair is static mania.
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
I kind of miss the harsh, dry climate. Tropical weather is getting too muggy and sticky.
Re: Winter Beauty Essential: Humidifier
I seriously need to get one of these. Fuck the cold, dry weather.
