Nature sound makers
Now that school is starting again, I know it's going to get noisier, especially in the early morning. I want to get one of those nature sounds machines or some nature sounds cds to block some of the sound at night. I had one of those machines and I just could NOT work it. Anyone have one they like? Easy to use, good sounds? I'm partial to water sounds if that helps.

Re: Nature sound makers
I tried one and it sucked. I just use a fan. Right now I use my space heater on the fan setting. Works for me. I am a terrible sleeper. Mouse farts wake me up. If something really noisy is going on I use Mack earplugs. silicone soft wax.
Also you could try a cd of nature sounds up as high as you need it and put it on repeat. Best of luck.

Re: Nature sound makers
I second the fan--I can't sleep without one. I prefer the cheap box fans they make the best white noise imho.

Re: Nature sound makers
I think I will go for the fan-thanks ladies! Far too much construction/cars/students around.

Re: Nature sound makers
i have a fan I cant sleep without.
The nature sound makers i've seen are all poor quality. You might try playing a tape like "sea of tranquility" or ive heard some good rain forest ones. Those actually sound real/decent unlike lol "the frying egg" noise thats suppose to sound like rain
