Youll hate me too. 2 days after I had my daughter I was wearing my size 3s again.
Shit how much did she gain. it takes a min of 24 to have a healthy baby or at least that is what we where told when my where being born.
She's wearing a scrunchy black dress, so I can't really tell. But it's great to be able to bounce back into shape after having kids. Which is one reason I'm scared to have kids, I feel I might never bounce back.
Ah looks good, and nursing helps, calories are being burned!
Just to add my 2 cents:
Re: FJRider and AudreyLeigh, I was taught in my health class the "ideal average" weight gain during pregnancy is 25-30 lbs, but it was definitely not a hard and fast rule. As AudreyLeigh said, it is more so based on your health [including exercise, medical conditions, bmi, diet]. For example, a woman who is slender with a low body mass index may need to gain additional lbs to support the requirements of the fetus.
didnt she have a c-section? they can do tummy tucks at the same time, so if she didnt gain much weight (which i know she gained some, and she needed to, because she looked super gross when she was way skinny IMO), a tummy tuck could do wonders.
As for weight gain, i have done everyrthing i can, and havent gained more than 4 pounds this pregnancy, and im 32w now. My mom also never gained weight wiht her kids and while we were small (she was very sick with us) we're both completely perfectly healthy. My grandma was the same... 6lb babies and didnt gain weight, but all were healthy.
(sorry but the weight gain is a sore spot with me, my midwife acts like im purposely trying to not gain weight, but im doing the best i can and i just wont gain)
hahaha you all SUCK!!! i gained 75lbs with my son!! i was 135 pre pregnancy and got up to 200lbs.
and i was trying NOT to gain weight! but luckily it was almost literally all water. 2 days after Xander was born i was down to 150.
good for her for looking awesome post baby! i just wish i looked that good two weeks after mine, tummy tuck or not! i'm just now getting where i look semi cute again, and its been nearly three months!
She must be loving those titties!!
Not necessarily. Sometimes, the bigger a person is, the less they have to gain. But thin people dont have to gain much either.
My sister was 94 lbs when she got pregnant, and she gained 36. But she is back to 96 now.
My cousin was a big girl, and she only gained like 18 lbs.
But really, it doesnt mean people wont have a healthy pregnancy. It depends on each individual person.
god bless her
I gained a ton of weight and fantasize about being my pre preggo size on a daily basis. My weight loss is going to take hard work and dieting, i'm just not one of the lucky ones. But i have enjoyed eating what i wanted during pregnancy and i'm more then willing to do the work to get my sexy body back!
I will also BF (Lord Willing) for at least 6 months.
Oo finally. I was waiting to see pictures of her. She's looking good. I just hope she likes how she looks now and won't go back to how she used to be. :-\
I'm starting my 32nd week and I've gained 25 lbs. so far and have been loving it. 8 lbs. of that was to get my body at a healthy weight since I was a bit underweight before I was pregnant. I hope I don't lose too much too easily once my baby's born. I like where I'm at now.
I'm guessing there aren't any pictures of Christina yet?
That's just amazing. It's so cool what a woman's body can go through. And that is why I think all pregnant women are superheros.
She could be wearing a corset? But I don't think she gained that much just from looking at her pics.
I gained 50 lbs. with Kembra, still trying to lose 15 more. I got big Polish thighs from eating too many pierogies drowned in butter during the nausea stage.
I didn't realize how many SWers are pregnant! That's awesome. I want to see pictures of her baby.
oh this thread made me all nervous and stressed i did not gain a ton this pg but i can't wait to have my body back I am eating in a very healthy way and watch my cals daily. It should be good but i doubt ill be back to normal in 2 days. :(
With my first child I actually was skinnier then before I had got pregnant I had weighed 110 and when I had my son I weighed 95 no strechmarks no nada .Of course it didn't happen the second time around so that sucked .
I started out at 135 pounds and was 225 at my last prenatal weigh-in. I haven't tried to put my regular pants on yet because of the infection in my incision but I bet they'd fit. A lot of what I gained was water weight so it melted off super fast once the night sweats started. I'd say I only gained maybe 30 pounds of real actual fat.
