Slow, dead night... and I banked
Let's share stories to encourage each other!
So it's Sunday at 5pm and the club just opened. There is one custie sitting at the bar sipping a beer and two dancers working, including me. The other dancer says "well I'm ordering food until people get here." I decide to approach the one custie. He explains to me he drove 30 minutes to get to the nearest strip club and that he just got divorced and hasn't been to a club in 15 years. He hands me a nice wad of twenties and asks me to take him upstairs and show him a good time. It was awesome =oD
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Yes, that is awesome! It's so easy to look past the few early stragglers..good thing you took the initiative to at least approach this guy. Maybe/hopefully he'll turn into a regular.
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Woo yeah!
Biggest mistake I see girls do is not approach custies on slow periods. Worst idea ever, usually it pays off times 1892741951. Or so.
My story? Hmm.
Last Friday I got a friend of the club's owner to come and buy me 5 dances, just by standing up and demanding him to come with me to the VIP backroom.
I later got to know this same man doesn't buy dances. Awesome! 8D
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Yeah, never write things off when it's dead. One day I was working with two other girls and we were all getting really frustrated about how dead it was and the few guys that were there were waiting for the housemom/manager/fellow stripper. Finally one of the girls got so fed up she left, and IMMEDIATELY some people finally came in and I made $100 in about ten minutes and the other girl made something similar.
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Unfortunately we all do have our slow/bad nights, but for the most part if there are customers in the club (no matter how few) then there IS money to be made.
It really is funny how sometimes I can make way more on a dead night than a night where there is wall-to-wall people. It only takes ONE customer to make your entire night. Hell, it only takes one to make your entire WEEK sometimes! ;)
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
There were 5 girls and one guy there and it seems no one asked him for a dance but me. I got at least 5 dances in a row and a huge tip.
Sometimes it's just too discouraging when it's slow, or when there are more girls than guys at my club.
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Well, IMO, when it is busier people dont feel inclined to tip as much because "there are so many people here, she is making plenty of money off of the other people".
Re: Slow, dead night... and I banked
Last Friday, I went to work early cause I was bored, and it was dead. It was around 7:30 or so. I don't usually come in till about 9 or 10, cause the place is a late-hitting club. There were only like 5 other dancers besides me, all hanging out in the DR or sitting against the wall. I sat down with this one guy, very quiet and average looking. We ended up getting 2 bottles of Moet and having a nice stint in the VIP. It was a great start to my night. By 9:30, I had over 200$ under my belt and had only been at work a little over 2 hours. It put me in such a good mood (not to mention a nice champagne buzz) that I had a rockin' night.

QFT. Most girls refuse to do day shifts but I tend to do better. I've had plenty of times where I've banked on a Monday day shift and did shit on Friday night. It's easier to find that one guy during a day shift, IMO. The busy times, like Friday night, is full of cheap retards.
