How long have you had your breast implants?
I've had the same ones around seven years. It just seems like a long time and I've become obsessed with getting them replaced.
So, I'm curious, how long have most of you had the same pair? How long would you go before planning a replacement, if you haven't experienced any problems?
Has anyone here had the same pair longer than seven years?
Thanks
ETA
if you have replaced them, why?
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Almost 2 years in April.
I'm not experiencing problems just going for a size increase in about 2 weeks.
If I need a replacement I'll just wait until something goes wrong with them. Hopefully that will never happen but its a possibility. I don't see the need to replace them after this next set unless there is anything wrong with them. My doc only told me to replace them if something goes wrong with them anyways.
Why would you want to replace them?

I'm worried that they are just old and that something could just happen like a deflation or a valve leak ect...and one day I'll just wake up with a flat tire.
When I had mine done most everyone got smooth saline round. There are so may more options now that I'm driving myself crazy and overall I've been happy with my BA results.
So, I'm just curious to hear about everyones longevity.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Had mine 2 1/2 years. I'm not planning on replacing them until I have to.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
I had to think about this for a second.
I got my first pair of saline implants 275ccs at age 18. At age 26, I woke up one day and my left boobie was deflating. NOT hot. So I had them replaced with 310ccs. Should have stayed there.
2 years ago at 30, I got cohesive silicone gel at 450ccs and I feel like they are too big, but they are nice and squishy and bouncy. I just kind of feel like a porn star now and that's not really my style. Boys like them. But I swear my ass got bigger as a result. I'm now very curvy and before I had a little ballerina body.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
I have had mine for 11 years now. I haven't had any problems and I don't plan on replacing them until I do.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
My twins were 8 in Feb!!
They are 375 cc Mentor textured teardrop saline implants originally filled to 400cc, and then 2 years later... filled up to 450cc.
They are under the muscle (dual)..and I am extremely physically active.
I have never had a problem.
At first the doc was worried about how much I used the control... the twins dance;)...but after my checkup this year...doc says I wont need to see him for at least another 2 years...as they are in great condition!!
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
7 years for the current pair ! Of course this doesn't count the four previous pairs !
I did have a 'flat tire' incident on one of my previous pairs, No big deal ... implant company supplied a warrantee replacement, and I think it cost me $1000 total (mandatory pre-op workup plus anesthesiologist fee).
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
mine are 10 years old this year. no problems and dont want to replace unless needed. i have a few friends that have implants older than mine and they still look great.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
I have had mine for 3 years in April. I want to get them done again because I am not happy with the placement and I want them bigger. I first wanted to get silicone, but I think that silicone only comes to 800 or so cc's and I want at least 950, so I'm okay with saline. :-)
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
14 weeks! LOL mine are still very new.
I think only if something went wrong I would think about getting mine replaced.
Mine are cohesive gel tear drop 360cc and 320cc.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Mine will be 7 years old this month. As long as they continue to be problem free I don't think I'll replace them.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Mine are 9 years old. No one ever guesses they're implants, just really perfect breasts. I got them before I danced, so if I needed to have them redone, I would like to go bigger. I have 350cc textured, rounds, over the muscle.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Mine are 5 years old and the doctor told me i wouldnt have to replace them for 20 years :)
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Mine were 5 years old on January 3rd. I've had no problems and don't plan to replace them until I need to. If I start to sag or something though, I'll be getting a redo. My Dr said up to 20 years was possible, but in his experience 10-15 was pretty standard.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Four years & I cannot fucking wait to replace them already. I have CC in one boob that hurts when I squeeze it. The pain is getting worse! :'( I have to suck it up until I have money saved & find a new Dr. bc I don't want my same Dr. :-[
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
I've had mine almost 2 yrs. I'm 20 now, and hoping not to replace them till 35. Or at least 30! so, that's 12-17 yrs.
I really just want to be through having children before I have them redone. I have 400cc round salines.
Re: How long have you had your breast implants?
Mine are about 13 years old and I cant wait to have them replaced but I'm trying to have a baby so they have to wait, right now they are about 300cc, I went from a b to a c cup but since then I gained about 15 lbs and I'm a D cup now.
Recently i have lost about 12 lbs, I was DD for a while and over the years after gaining and losing weight they dont look so hot, but men love them, they look very natural, but lately one of them looks weird because the implant got hard as a rock and the other looks droopy, they still look great in a bra but i have to hold them when I get naked so men wont see how different they are, that drives me crazy, but if I get pregnant I wont have to get naked for a while so I guess I can wait.
After I have a baby I want them smaller, I want to be a C cup again, so I'm gonna have to have a lift which I know I will hate for a few years till the scars fade. I know I will miss my big boobies but I hate looking like a porn star and cant wear many of the outfits I like because they are hanging out, C cup is still big enough.
