To email or not to email....
The club I am hoping to start at soon has just completely overhauled their website and one of the new things is the email address to contact management etc. Before this I was going to just give them a call about starting, but now I'm thinking I'd rather email them so I can tell them a bit about me and not get all nervous on the line (ps-I'm one of those people that hates talking to randoms on the phone!)
I just wondered if anyone has ever had any negative experiences with trying to get an audition this way. I live pretty far away from the club so I'd hate to make the trip only to find out they only audition on certain days etc :-\
Input is muchos appreciated! ;D
Re: To email or not to email....
Which PP are you going to?( I only ask because I've worked the one in Miami so I can give you some insight about that one)
I started working in Key West lo these many years ago because I emailed them. The owner and I (who BTW is a doughebag now...I"m now working for his competition and enemy!LOL) chatted, I sent him pics and when I was ready to go down it was like I already knew the place.
I say give it a shot...if a few emails go by and they dont respond, you will have to call or go in though to speak to someone
Re: To email or not to email....
I feel like it might make me feel a bit more comfortable too, if I've already been in touch with them and I kinda have someone there I know a bit. I'm just nervous about audition for the first time so I was to make it as smooth as possible!!
Re: To email or not to email....
Meh...unless you are really ghetto or speak fluent Spanish dont bother with the PP in Miami. White girls are the minority there for a reason...guys would literally turn their chairs away from the stage when one of us went up. Then turn them back for the black or latin girls. It really isnt friendly to white american girls...and I was really good friends with the manager and still got treated like crap by some of the staff. I dont recommend it.
Re: To email or not to email....
I have email a few clubs here in CA. But I never got any responses. They may or may not care. Other times I'm sure they don't have a web master. But that's probably because it's Cali.
