You guys know so much here! I've never shot a gun, I just know about it from my little bro and from hoodlums with guns shoved in the top of their pants wandering about, well, several places I used to live.
No safety sounds bad though.

Especially if you shove it into the top of your pants!

Will chooses not to post on SW anymore.
And yes. The Glock is an amasing weapon and I have used a condom to protect one of my weapons from getting wet. Learned that from a former marine.

Re: Portraits of Gun Owning Americans
No safety means that some stupid individual can shoot themselves in the foot. Or if its taken away from you. Or rather me. I would be shot with my own weapon.
That would just piss me off.

AHAHAHAHHAHAHA
'Someone would shoot me with my own weapon! That would just piss me off'
Sorry... funniest understatement ever!

Like this?
Shared information and answering peoples questions is like this?
I understand that not everyone favors guns. Okay? Nothing wrong with a polite discussion and seeing what EVERYbody has to say about a controversial subject.

Re: Portraits of Gun Owning Americans
Yeah I like my guns but damn...thats a LOT. And Crow I agree..I dont like the Glock either. I shot one once and it tore up my hand. The sig 9 fits a felame hand much better then a glock.
Some of my guns are made of plastic...the outer casing anyway, and look just like that(well..except that they are pistols,I only have one rifle and have never shot it because it has historical value)
And oh HELL NO would I ever have a gun with no safety. Not one I shot anyway. I have an old Spanish revolver that doesnt have one, but it is also historical and never gets used...I dont even know if we have the bullets for it. Guns without safetys are just asking for trouble.
Like I said, I love my guns and am happy to live somewhere I am allowed to have them, but like anything some people just go WAY overboard and have a mini militia artillery built up. I"m not storing up for WW3 here...I just like to shoot and like knowing that if someone breaks into my home and threatens me I can kill the fucker.

It's not like you said anything bad... someone just asked why they looked plastic and you answered... which considering this was a post about photos was perfectly in line.

I was totally not offended. I have zero guns and don't plan on having any, but I was curious! I think a book of SWers with guns would be less tacky than that book. As long as you all straighten your shelves!

He totally is. Right past that slidy door to the right is the laundry room. Or it's an NJ apartment. Same thing.
And goth guy? I'd hit it. He has nice shelves.
