One good night = One bad night?
I had an awesome Monday (my second best night of the year so far). Then tonight I couldn't make money to save my life!!! I should know that if I have a great night to take the next night off, because this always happens.
Is it cyclical? Like the wealth is naturally spreading itself around? Is it psychological? Because I had such an easy, lucrative night am I not working enough and expecting too much? Is it just a stripper law?
Thoughts?

it's the universe. that's all i know
I had an awesome monday too, but didn't work tonight, so i cant really say anything about tonight.
Re: One good night = One bad night?
Well I had a pretty shit night.... I always get nervous when I have too many good days in a row because I know the bad night is just lurking around the corner.
Re: One good night = One bad night?
No...I find my good nights feed off each other...I get on a roll.
Re: One good night = One bad night?
i find that i have one bad night out of 4 or 5. i'll take one bad night because i really am liking my weekly average.
it's different for everyone, but you're right, it could just be because you're feeling on top of the world and not trying as hard. get em tomorrow!! ;]
Re: One good night = One bad night?
If you think like that than probably. I always have good nights pretty much now. Even when I'm not trying. I even did a club shift as a waitress a week ago and got paid by the owner's friend to leave and go on a date for a few hundred a hour. So it's not like I even tried on that one.
Re: One good night = One bad night?
It's all in your head. My last 3 nights have been good. And not, "I had customers coming in just for me" good. I worked my ass off and it paid off.

Yeah, it's all in your head..Subconscious complacency.

I thought that if I had a great night the next would be bad. But, positive thinking changed that. I also get on a money making roll. I prob. have 2-3 bad nights a month. Yes, it's all in your head.
