Ideas? Need some input...
Here's the deal... Lately my club has been D.E.A.D. As in, less than 20 customers and 5-9 dancers. Every night.
Now I normally talk to everyone in the club at least once, but when I sense that they're wasting my time, I say, "See ya later," and walk away. I'd rather sit by myself than sit with a non-paying customer.
But I've been thinking... I wonder if there's a way to get some money out of these cheapskates? So I have a couple of ideas... Please let me know what you think:
Me: "How about we go back in the back for _____?" (or whatever cute lapdance line I've got; only AFTER working the hustle of course)
Him: "I don't have the money."
Me: "Well you know you COULD get some cash on your credit card?"
Him: "I don't carry a credit card."
Me: "You'll have to come back and see me some other time, then, okay? Would you like to tip me? (hold out T-back)"
***I figure that maybe I can at least get a few bucks out of him.
Alternatively, I'm wondering about whether it would work to offer $10 tabledances (our couch/VIP dances are minimum $20, but there's no price on tabledances, and our tabledances are airdances)? I guess what I'm getting at is that I've got a lot of BROKE customers, but if I can get $5-$10 out of each of them, it'd be better than what I'm making now.
Any ideas?
Re: Ideas? Need some input...
imo- it'd be better to do a 10$ airdance then a 0 dollar nothing. And you'd be suprised what a guy has in his wallet when he's "broke". Use the last 30-60 seconds of the airdance to sell the closer, more intimate private dance.
also, if your club is so dead, it may be time to scope out some others.

When you say there is no price on tabledances, what price do you usually do them for? Obviously it's better to get 10 dollars than none. When they say they are broke ask them how much they have, if done the right way they will tell you and you can figure out what will fit your/their needs. Lola is right "broke" means something different to different people.

I think it's a good idea. Don't let it take time away from the better customers but it's better than nothing.
Our club also gives you money for selling a hookah or bottle of champagne, and house fee is cut down for each drink you sell. You could try getting those sorts of things out of them too. But I'd go for the dances mostly.
Re: Ideas? Need some input...
I like the $10 air dance idea.
Re: Ideas? Need some input...
"my time has value and i'm sure yours does too. i appreciate an investment for my time."
Re: Ideas? Need some input...
Well can you tip my for my beauty?
And if you made eye contact with them while you were on stage butthey didnt come up to tip or didnt buy dances when you asked then ask them to tip you for the show you gave them?
Re: Ideas? Need some input...
Yes, by all means sell the $10 air dance, then you can try to upsell to VIP, or at least another $10 dance. When times are lean do what you can to make both parties happy. I work in a club that has $10 dances, and $20 VIP and I don't have a problem doing the $10 dances because I like being busy and it all adds up. I still average $100/hour take home even though guys are pretty much broke here too now.

maybe a new club might be best?
