I need a bra
Don't want to wear my bras that were given to me post surgery anymore. I really need a bra I can wear for a few months until the new boobs settle on a size. I think I'm currently a 34DD. I've looked on some sites and everything is ugly, a nursing bra, or isn't in my size. I wanna be cheap (like under $30) too if I can since I'm only gonna wear them for a little while.

Re: I need a bra
Target Gillian and O'Malley are great, cheap bras. Online it looks like there are a bunch more options for 36DD than for 34DD though. I'm a 34B and have a few 36Bs that I wear on the smallest hook and they are fine. I'm not sure if thats the case for you biggens?

Re: I need a bra
I know you said cheap, but my fav for settling was the wireless ipex from VS. Most of their bras don't fit quite right, but this one does, and it's super comfy. I think it runs about 45 bucks though.

Re: I need a bra
I agree, the ipex is amazing. Fit me perfectly and VS and I don't always agree. Have you checked ebay? I've gotten great deals on my best bras on there.

Re: I need a bra
I really love the Target Gilligan O'Malley underwire microfiber demi bra. They're $10-16, super flattering, super comfortable and come in all kinds of great colors.

Re: I need a bra
fredericks of hollywood has hot bras for big boobs. they are my HG bra!!

Re: I need a bra
I have the same problem. Nothing seems to fit right or is just absolutely hideous. VS is always too big around the band.
Lola Rose once suggested buying for cup size then altering the band, but I've been to lazy to do that.
The only place I've found comfy, good-looking bras that fit is Agent Provocateur, but it's REALLY outside my bra budget. :-\

Re: I need a bra
^^I feel so loved! :cupid: :couple:
I should take your recommendation and get to FH. Do you have a favorite bra there? I like your style woman!

Re: I need a bra
I agree with the Ipex...expensive but oh so comfy!

Re: I need a bra
Well you got big girl boobs now you're gonna need to spend money for the extra fabric! No such thing as cheap bras anymore!

Re: I need a bra
^^^ yup expensive bras come with the territory ... which in my own case usually means custom tailored 32M's !
Actually, Bravissimo offers some rather nice bras in 'first half of the alphabet' cup sizes at somewhat reasonable prices ... even with the US$ to UK Pound exchange rate hovering around 2 :1

Re: I need a bra
I used to shop at Victoria's Secret and the bras would always end up feeling like crap on me and fall apart. Now I get my bras from Walmart and they are more comfortable and fit me better, plus cheaper.

Re: I need a bra
Yeah I agree with Frederick's, they have bigger sizes. Also you can experiment with different cup/band sizes. I am a 32DD but I wear some bras in 34C comfortably.

My favourite bra 8)

Re: I need a bra
Oh, speaking of international shopping, Marks & Spencer, the big UK department store, has a good selection of larger sizes at good prices.
Agreed on Frederick's for push-ups, and Agent Provocateur for fit, and Wacoal. I have found great Wacoal deals on eBay.

Re: I need a bra
I just bought a really comfy sports bra from Macy's. Wide straps, no underwire and it zips up the front. It was just what I was looking for. It was made by Champion. It ran about $30 but you'll probably find it even cheaper in a Macy's in the states.
