Newbie here
Ok, I'm going to take the plunge and tell my story...
Hi, my name is Holly (can't think of a stripper name I like yet...) and I have been lurking for a while, learning about this lifestyle. I graduated college with a sociology degree which is mostly useless so I am broke and living with a friend until I can figure out what to do.
I'm tired of barely being able to pay bills and I'm hoping that once I lose a little weight and get my confidence up that I can go and dance. I am a member of a large gym (thank god!) so I am there 5 days a week toning and doing cardio. I actually almost went out the other day to buy stripper shoes so I can learn to walk in them but figured my I should pay my phone bill first.
I currently live in Austin, but I am thinking about moving elsewhere to get away from my ex boyfriend who is still trying to control me and is a bit stalkerish.
So thats a short rendition of my current life. I am working to better my situation but it is hard! I look forward to posting here and making new friends. Thanks for listening:)

Re: Newbie here
Welcome. If you can get your hands on a used home pole, it's just as effective as the gym for losing weight and you'll know tricks too . Actually .... that's advice to take only if you want to know pole tricks ( you don't really need them to start dancing ).

Re: Newbie here
The only problem is space, this place is kinda too small for that. But I am looking into pole dancing classes, I think that would be interesting to learn. At least to have some basic skills at it.
