I officially got over being a scaredycat and worked my first shift! I think the hardest part was calling the club for an interview and everything after that just came a bit easier. My first shift went pretty well despite the fact it was completely dead. I found that the hardest part wasn't the stage show but getting the nerve to approach customers and then trying to make conversation with them. I found that I was too friendly and didn't know how to bridge the initial conversation into asking them for a dance (I'll have to study hustle hut for my next shift). The DJ was really helpfull and so were most of the girls (although I can already tell which ones might be trouble). All in all, it went pretty well, I just really hope that selling dances is a little easier and that the club picks up a little. I just wanted to thank all you guys for all your great advice and help. I went in there prepared and had very few suprises and hopefully it's going to get a little easier from here on in.
