Proof?
Hi, I am about to start applying to clubs in Texas, but I have another job on a tv show (Not paid a lot) and if any of them can find out I've been dancing I will lose my job.
However, I still really want to do it. The idea turns me on and I really want some extra money!
So my question is how do you not get found out? If someone does a background check, can they find out?
I don't think you have to have a dancing license in Texas and from what I understand having a license is an easy way for people to find out?
And also, I'm so afraid of someone I know coming in the club! I'de like to dance in a different city but it's just not going to be an option. Have any of you ever had like your Dad show up or something not knowing you work there?
Sorry for all the questions! xoxo

Re: Proof?
If your job is an on camera job, you're very probably going to be recognized.
I don't know what happens with licensing, so I don't know if someone would find info on that or not. From what you've statd I wouldn't take the risk if it was me.

Re: Proof?
If your that worried about getting caught.. don't do it. There are no tips or tricks for being on the low. Shit happens.

You don't need a license to dance in Texas.

Re: Proof?
It is guranteed that at some time someone you know or someone who knows you is going to wander in to the club.
I can also gurantee that wearing a wig or hairpiece isn't going to disguise you since our quirky mannerisms and expressions is also a give away to people who know you. I'm Mrs. Average in looks and I have experimented with radically different looks. I've tried totally changing my look and behavior to "trick" somone and they still spotted me from across the room- but not only that, customers who saw me once months ago made comments about my change of look.
Life is full of choices, and I'm afraid in this case you can't have your cake and eat it too.
