Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
whats 3ft in terms of meters (sorry im australian) when i worked in darwin there was a 1 metre rule once we took our bra or bottoms off which i thought was reasonable (altho i broke that rule several times with the cute customers :)) do u mean theres a 3ft rule even with ur clothes on??
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
It's 3 feet once we're topless, but even clothed we're not allowed to touch the customers. So we can't do lapdances or anything.
I spoke to the DJ and the manager about it and they said it's just because the last club that was there got shut down due to prostitution, so they're trying to come off EXTRA super squeaky clean for the million cop patrols.

I really love this club except for that one thing and was hoping someone had some advice for me? Thanks.
You might be better of leaving the city or even that state. As a customer I will not pay to watch you from that far away. I don't even make a lot of money but I would travel out of state, time permitting, if I had to for a real dance. I don't expect extras, but I do expect for the dancer to end up in my lap for most of the dance.
air dancing=>:(

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
1 meter=~ 3.28 feet, so 3 feet=~ 0.91 meters- looks like your club "down under" is slightly more restrictive than OP's.:'( , though how many people can truly tell the difference??
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
Are you making any money this way ? There are a lot of Denver clubs to chose from if you need another one.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
ya i make nothing. most i've made in one night is $100 and that was only because i had a guy who fell in love with me and gave me all his money. most nights i'm in the 30-40 range. I guess another club is my best bet. :(
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
yes, please change clubs. Denver is a decent $$$ city and you could make more than $30/night making almost minimum wage.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
I worked at a club kind of like that in Colorado, tho there was an option to go next door for real lap dances. I totally played up the private part of the dance, how I would be dancing just for them, etc. But, yeah, the money was shitty and I left after like two days.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
Seriously, you can make $30 a night at Wal-Mart or McDonald's. I'm a guy, but it always seemed to me that the point of dancing was to make more money than you could ever make at a typical shitty restaurant or retail job. btw, I wouldn't even go to a club that had that rule. I'm not looking for anything crazy or inappropriate, but lap dances are supposed to involve my lap! :)
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
hm, that sucks. definately change clubs or...see how many times you can break the rules-since your probably going to quit anyways. have fun with it, be remembered.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
Use your head not your body and you can make $$$ anywhere.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
At my club we air dance. I do pretty good. I do a more personal and intimate dance to seduce them to the VIP room then give the whole "girlfriend" experience and they have a great night. VIP dances are no different but they are more private.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
we have this rule in houston, but honestly nobody follows it. not even at the men's club, which is known to be one of the cleanest club in town. i guess they do enforce really enforce that rule up there. that sucks, i would be happy air dancing if someone was paying me for it, otherwise i don't mind grinding if i can pull in 1k on a busy night. i dance to make quick cash and purely for the money, find a club you can money at, otherwise get out the industry, it's not worth putting up with all the crap associated if the money isn't enough!
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
How much is the door fee and what clubs are the best ones in denver?

when i was in darwin it was a 1 metre rule at all times, even when fully clothed, and they had security guards watching to make sure we didn't break the rules and if we did we got one warning and if we did it again we got sent home.
selling a 10 minute dance for $80 (yes, fucking $80) when you're not allowed withing 3 feet of the guy was damn near impossible. i think they've changed things since i was there.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
I worked at a club like this in northern Colorado. There was also no VIP room and hustling for dances (15$ for 2 songs, by the way) was technically illegal. I also averaged about 100$ a night...it wasn't a bad place to learn the ropes, so to speak, but I could only handle it for about 3 months.
Since you're already in Denver, I would definitely switch clubs. The money can be so much better.
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
My boss is part owner of a couple of clubs in Denver. I dont' remember which ones but the other two are Bob and Aaron. We also have that same 3 foot rule but in my city that's the rule. We aren't allowed lapdances but the guys do pay for a dance. I guess it's because some of them like that one on one thing. It really depends on your area. If you can do better someplace else then by all means hop to it and make you some of that money!
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
I'd just make my moves more sexual. I mean you gotta up their "thrill" some how eh? Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices to work at "classier" (less contact) joints.
I know where I'm from you can't make as much money at the newer "classy" spot as you can at the older clubs even tho the contact rules are about the same.... weird how that works
Re: Three Foot Rule... WTF
I once tried working in a club that had a 5 foot rule. Basically, there were side areas with curtains and a chair set 5 feet away from a small stage and you did a private nude stage dance. The main stage was topless so the selling point was that you got to see the girl naked. I was there for about 3 weeks and bailed. I could never figure out how to make money in that environment (sorry).
Still, is there anything really different between the private dance and stages that you can use as a selling point? Is one more revealing than the other? In a private location versus in front of everyone?
