lil trick
I've noticed that when I mention the more expensive dance first, that's the one guy buys. For instance, "We have a 20-minute private dance for $75 or a 4-minute private dance for $20. Which one did you want?" Almost always gets you the first. If you reverse the order in which you mention them, the reverse is true. Anyone else noticed this?

Re: lil trick
The primacy effect is said to make people remember the first thing said the most. There's a belief (and apparently evidence) that people consequently ascribe more positive value to the thing mentioned first. I guess in the SC, there's also the assumption from the guy that when you're selling, you're going to mention the best experience or what you're very good at first.
There have been studies with advertising and the primacy effect: essentially you're using it in the same way, for example, that copywriters are. I'll have to remember this one since now that I think about my experiences, you're right - it works a lot.
