Massage
I've always had serious upper back pain. I carry my stress there and I have big ole bewbs. I need a massage and I need to get aligned.
Here's my thing, how the hell do I go about finding a reasonably priced massage therapist that is going to do a good job? Is there a review site somewhere?
I have no one to ask and I don't want to go to a school to get a massage.

Re: Massage
i belong to massage envy. They have spas all over the country. You can go in and try it out for $39 an hour...whatever you want..deep tissue,swedish..you tell them what therapist you want.
If you want to join it is $59 a month ...with that you get one prepaid hour massage.and any other massages you get after that are $39. If you dont use it one month, it rolls over spot next month you get 2 hours.
I like it. Cheap and good therapists. Theres no hard pressure sell...just ask if you wan tto sign up. If you say youll think abou tit they say thank you and thats it.

Re: Massage
^I also do massage envy. Their monthly membership is great and it forces you to take time to pamper yourself.

Re: Massage
I know a great massage therapist in Chicago.... she's a friend of mine and I just keep hearing amazing things. If you are still looking, PM me for her info.

Re: Massage
There's also low-priced student massage at Cortiva Institute (18 N. Wabash Avenue - Chicago, IL 60602 | 312.753.7990). I, too, have the name of a great massage guy (he worked on my damaged back) awhile back.
Edit: Whoops, I see you said in the OP you didn't want to get a student massage.
