Full C or Small D, big difference?
I can't decide on what size would work best for me. Is there really that much of difference between a full c or a small d, is there a huge difference?
I really need to do the rice test. I keep seeing women with boob jobs I like on t.v and stuff and I dont know what fricking size there are or could not even make a good guess.
I just don't want them to take me over and look off on my small frame.
Ahhh sorry just confused.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Its where you put rice in a bag to see about what the size an implant would be.
Like so much rice is equivalent to so many cc's in an implant.
Sorry thats a crappy explanation I don't know much about it,some women
on here are very informed about implants im not! :o)
What size do you think she is:

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
A few short things about this:
Rice test is complete crap. It doesn't account for your already there boobage.
Everyone elses boob size and shape will ALWAYS look different on you. So, its unfair to you to compare your tit after size to someone else's after size.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
I think you have to take your own breast characteristics into account to see if it will make a big difference. If the width of your breasts are on the full side, then a full C would look proportionate, depending on your overall body shape and a D may look too big if your breast width is narrow and they tend to project more than spread. I think a full C would be the stopping point if that were the case whereas if your breasts are fuller in width, either would look fine.
The implant will settle more or less to your breasts' natural shape, unless you get high profile implants, in which case, the upper fullness will become more prominent. You also have to take into account whether you are going over or under the muscle.
If they are overs, a smaller size will still appear very perky, so size is less important, whereas with under the muscle, the muscle will compress the implant to the extent that you may wish to go bigger than you'd think you'd want.
You can PM if youd like to see pictures of my BA, I am 5'6" 115 lbs went from full (wide-fullness!) B to a 36/38 D with 400cc silicone unders through the armpit.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Yeah your right abou the rice test, it seemed to be a wishy washy way to tell due to the fact that it does not take your natural size into account.
To get the most natural appearance I would do under the muscle.
It seems to be the best option for placement from what I have gathered.
I have not decided on what profile, low, moderate or high profile.
How do you guess what type profile you want on that?
I forgot to ask the doc.
Thanks London :)

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
The rice test is just stupid, I tried it and u cant tell and it doesn't look like boobs coz it's so lumpy.
I was concerned about going too big. I think I went the right size, although sometimes boobie greed takes over and I wish I went 400cc instead of 360cc.
I am a 32D now and I dont think they look too big for my frame.

see post number 15 for the pics.
Anyway I have a small frame - Im 5"0 and 100lbs and i dont think 32D's look too big on me.
Mine are under the muscle, moderate profile tear drop cohesive silicon gels.
I heard u should not get high profile implants if u are short.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
^^
I'm a couple inches shorter than you and I have HP implants. I looked at your pics and mine are about that size but a bit more round in shape. Not too big but definently not too small. Every woman is different, I guess.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
I think you should always go a bit bigger that you want. I was scared my boobs were ganna be massive but they turned out just right. I went for 340cc although everyone told me I should be 320cc I knew they would be too small on me. When I tried the sizers on my boobs looked huge but they always turn out a bit smaller than the sizers look.
Also, my friend has implants and she is a C/D as am I but she has 280s and I've got 340s. It is all to do with your original breast size and shape, your height, back size ect so don't look at other peoples boobs for judgement, you have to make your own decision.

I made a post about trying out rice sizer and how much they sucked recently. To bad though. It'd be fun to have something that I could play around with at home and get a semi accurate result.
The MakeMeHeal website has implant sizers that you fill up with water, so if you REALLY want something to play around with, you may want to check that out.
On profiles:
Low profiles aren't worth getting. They're more of a marketing gimmick, for people who are scared to look fake. They're really no different that mods and could possibly look like "discs" on thin tissued people (<--according to a few PS's). I honestly wouldn't consider them.
Mods: you get more coverage with less cc's. You sacrifice projection because of it, though. If you go to
you can match your Band width with a Mod and High profile implant and see the difference in cc's and projection.
Mod+: They are some times seen as the "best of both worlds" because they are in between mods and high profile.
Highs: don't necessarily look round on top. I depends on your breast shape. If you want more cc's going with HP allows you to do that. I think they also look bigger because of their projection.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Thanks you guys! Err girls! I think I would go with the moderate + or high profile implants personally from your descriptions. The smallest bra size in D is 34 D right?
Im a 34C naturally so if I told the doc to make me a small D would I go up to a 34 D bra size, or would it be even larger? Haha sorry I am a tomboy!

Really? When I tried different implants on my consult, the high profiles looked better on me. That was just sticking them in a bra in a t-shirt, but still, the low profiles made me look dumpy and she agreed. I'm 5'0".
I honestly have no idea what bra size it would make me though. I was just going by what would look good on me.
Oh, and I tried the water filled things to try different sizes at home and they had a seam around them and I couldn't get them smooth without putting two shirts over the bra, so it really didn't work too well. I think the best way might be with a surgeon actually placing the implant in a bra for you.

Sorry, threadjack, J, do you have any pics of before BA? I am also a 32B and want a 32D-DD, nowhere near a C I told the ps;) I'm stuck on cc amount and am just trying to get a better idea. I'm a little over 5' and weigh 103, ribcage 27". I was thinking of 400cc. but def don't want to end up in DDD or higher range...:-\
Ugh, sorry, I cut off your quote. I started typing in the middle of it and don't know how to move my post below your quote, lol.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Yep sure do. Here is a pic of my itty bitty's hehe.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Wow. Your boobs looked so great before, but the post-BA pics are awesome! I have itty bittys and your after pics make me want implants.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Here are two pictures of my boobs post-op, the upclose shot is 1.5 years post op, the 2nd is almost 2 years post. I have silicone moderate profile, arm-pit crease, under muscle.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Wow thanks for sharing girls! Nice boobie pics before and after! If I got a small D, would I be a 34 D bra size since I am a 34 C now?Haha sorry I am such a tomboy I don't know shit about bras!

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
^^
it's hard to know in terms of cup size. im not even sure of my bra size. i thought i was a 32D but a bra fitter (who was at my hairdressers) said just looking at me she thinks im bigger than that and prob a 32DD.
-
Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
Nice boobs, girls. J that is pretty much what I am now, but I can tell I have a little more sag than you did, but the shape and everything are exactly the same. I'm getting overs so I'm guessing 360cc would get me to a D/DD. I just don't want to hit the DDD range, lol. I have pretty much the same torso length as you too. You could seriously be my body double. My hubby bugged out when I showed him your pic;D If you have blond hair and brown eyes I think you're the Austrailan me (or I'm the American you, lol). Weird.
ETA: getting cogels smooth round overs if it makes a diff.

Re: Full C or Small D, big difference?
I have blue eyes and brown hair, it's coloured blonde tho hehe.
