The Main Attraction is in Oceanside. You may not need a license because it's outside the city limits. They used to have auditions on Wednesday.
In the city, in addition to Live Scan fingerprints and license, you now need to pay business tax, which is another 76 dollars, before the police department will issue the license.
TSK, make sure you renew within 30 days of expiration or you have to get new prints!
Does anyone has any info on Club V (formerly Expose)
For the business tax, go here:
1200 3rd Ave (first floor, across from the reception desk)
SD, CA 92101
619 615-1500
yeah i heard of main attraction, might check it out. thanx a lot for the info. cant believe all the shit you have to go through in the city though, that is bullshit, but then again i guess i've never worked in a big city before lol
yeah from what i hear LA is not the place to be, so im just sticking with sd and area around there. but hey i say bring on the military boys lol
Yeah Main Attraction doesn't require a license. I worked there for a couple months and thought it was lame, but I know some girls that like it there. Lots of military guys though!
NICE! for some reason im good with those military boys lol. main attraction is sounding alright too. might go try it out while im down there then!
They just reopened back up their VIP section. I went there to check it out a few months ago. It was about 9pm on a Thursday night and it was dead in there. At most 4-5 customers and the same amount of girls working as well. They were taking breaks on the stage when I walked in.
Pretty club though. The staff seemed nice as well.
Yeah, all I hear is that Club V is D-E-A-D. And they have a radio advertisement that says, "At Club V, a girl turns 18 every day!" Nothing like appealing to pedophiles to get customers..
Bahaha, so glad this topic was up!! I've been wanting to make $$ real bad and have no desire for a 9 to 5 at the moment. Used to dance in AZ and just moved back to CA. I live near Oceanside/Main Attraction and it's quite helpful to know they don't require a license. I wasn't wanting anyone to put up money for it ya know?? I'm gonna audition today. :) Not to mention I won't have to drive into SD. Anyone have any other thoughts on Main Attraction just so I have an idea of what I'm in for?? Thanks!
I just moved to San Diego permanently and would prefer to work at a club that doesn't require a license. Can anyone tell me how far from San Diego (or Coronado) is Oceanside? I, too, prefer a military clientelle. Thanks, ladies!

It's not close, especially from Coronado, and traffic is pretty bad. I would avoid rush hour if possible.
^^
Thanks a bunch for the map! Yeah, that's probably a bit farther up I-5 than I'd want to go every day.
I'll probably snoop around Body Shop or Les Girls and see what I think.
Yeah, if you're driving up for a night shift during rush hour it sucks. I make that drive a lot (past Del Mar, a giant parking lot and it takes longer than I think it should).
Check out LG and BS, you never know until you try.
I worked at Main and I didn't like it at all. There are some girls that hustle and make money (mostly off regulars), but the most I made was on the low end of what I make at my nude club. I'm not saying "there's no money in that club" this is just my own personal experience.
I didn't like that they require you work on a schedule. And you have to work one of the slow days a week (Sun/Mon/Tues). I think you have to work three days a week. I also don't like that if you rat out a dancer who is drunk or drinking you get like $500 or something. I think it's lame and bad for dancer morale. I thought the girls were not friendly, helpful, or welcoming, but I understand why that happens, especially in a smaller club where competition is a big factor.
Well I found out you have to be 21 to work at MA and I'm only 20. Rules were different in AZ. Laaame. So now my sights are set on Les Girls. I wish their fucking phone number worked! So does anyone have any info on that club instead and when do they audition?? I don't wanna drive all the way there from north county SD for nothing and I literally cannot call. Thanks ladies!!
