What are some of your favorite songs to workout to? I'm making a mixed cd and I need some inspiration. I figured I'd put this thread in the lounge to get the most responses, but mods feel free to move it doesn't belong here.

i LOVE working out to techno, especially on the treadmill. It makes you forget what you're doing so you can go longer.
Favorites:
Lovestoned by Justin Timberlake (TIESTO MIX)
How Did You Know - by Motorcycle
Faster Kill Pussycat- by Brittany Murphy and Paul Oakenfold
I like to work out to techno, hip hop, dance.
my playlist too big to post, but I mostly like hard rock, metal, with a few upbeat r&b songs thrown in (rihanna, timbaland, nelly furtado)
one of my favorites is The Way I Are [Rock Remix] ft. Nephew, I love that song so much.
I like to listen to heavy rock when im doing cardio and something smooth when im doing mat exercises.
I love running to the Matrix soundtracks, lol. Nothing makes me run faster than imaging I'm Trinity in a long black trench coat sprinting down the street.
^^^Thats dead cool lol
Would you expect any less from me?
Give these a whirl in your ipod:
Demands - Saul Williams
Bombs over Bagdad - Outkast

I workout to Britney Spears. Her music is upbeat and I always think of her body doing "I'm a Slave For You" at the MTV music awards years ago and it really motivates me.
It's Raining Men
kanye's workout plan (lol an obvious choice)
touch the sky by kanye gets me pumped too
any of rihanna's upbeat singles
and the new n.e.r.d. album
I usually like techno or rock, but sometimes I'll go for rap. My top workout songs ALWAYS in my mp3 player:
Disturbed-Dropping Plates
Disturbed-Down With The Sickness
Dope-Die
Buckcherry-Porno Star
Mary J Blige-Family Affair
Rihanna-Pon de Replay
DJ Caffeine-Fuck On Cocaine
Lady Bouncer-Dirty Mary
TECHNO is the best.
Pumps me up!
Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Armin Van Burren etc.
Hard Rock or kick ass chick songs
Rob Zombie
Pink
Nine inch Nails
anything with a hard beat that makes me want to MOVE
I REALLY like working out to movies though...I put a kick ass chick flick like Death Proof or Lara Croft(I'll be working out to Wanted when it comes out on DVD!). Makes me want to be physical and kick some ass!!
Of course..thats all when I'm lifting or on the treadmill or using the heavy bag....its all calmness and serene stuff when I do yoga
I like metal most of the time...especially for any sort of cardio at the gym. The angry music fuels me! If I am doing something a little more chill then I like 311 or Sublime. Lately I have been getting into music from India and making a half ass attempt at belly dancing . However I am a big fat nerd and often can be caught dancing around my house to big band...as long as no one is watching LOL!
I have to be the crazy here and say, FINAL COUNTDOWN, you know, from ROCKY... how can you NOT want to break a sweat to that song?
Anything else with a good beat and some seriously wicked lyrics will work... I do a lot of rock when I'm working out, but I'm a fighter as well so I'm usually in a gym with a bunch of guys doing fight stuff.

"Sexyback" by JT
"Freedom" by George Michaels
