NW Arkansas Clubs
Hi there!
I am here in NW Arkansas for the summer and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the clubs around here? Which ones to work at? I have heard good things about Silver Dollar Cabaret (formerly Stephanie's Cabaret) in Fayetteville. Is it a topless club?
Thanks so much!

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
I worked at Paper Moon in Little Rock in 2002. As of late the reviews on tuscl.com have been bad (run down club, thugs, ect.). But when I was there it was really nice!!
The club is primarily lit by blicklight. And the stage has a pole that is super tall (15' maybe?). I was really impressed with the decor inside. It was newly remodeled with lush interior and great stage lights. It rivaled the decor of Hustler Club in San Francisco... may have even been nicer too tell you the truth. It's an alchohal club with smoking inside (and DAMN does it get smokey!!), and it's open till 4am.
The DJ was funny. When I met him he had coke on his nose. Just like out of a movie. Lol! But he was really nice, super respectful and very eager to please! He bent over backwards to make me feel at home and find music that I liked. Which was nice because, call me ignorant, but as a California girl, I thought the only music they'd have in Arkansas was country and rock bands like Creed. In actuallity they subscribe to an online music service, so their selection is huge!
The girls were nice. A little odd... but nice none the less. Just don't get on their bad side. I heard them telling stories about putting fried chicken on one of the other girl's white dresses so it would get all stained with grease. Yes I am serious. :scared: Though I didn't notice any drama when I was there.
Dances are $20 each if I recall correctly. But if you look good you can charge more for your dances. Guys out there are dying for girls who have all their teeth, don't have meth face, and haven't popped 4 kids out by the age of 18. Again, I am not joking.
During the dances you must wear booty shorts and pasties. Also, not only is there no contact, as the guy is sitting in his chair you must pretend that there is an invisible wall of glass starting at his knees, and you cannot pass it. Which means you pretty much wiggle and bend over in front of the guy and that's it. Oddly enough it was super easy to sell multiple dances. Weird.
Clientele:
The nights I worked were slow. Mostly farmers and local boys no more than 10 people there at a time, but I made about $300 a night. I could have made more, had I realized I could charge more for the dances earlier. The guys like to chat for a while, but they're pretty much gauranteed to get at least one dance, usually more. Take them with a grain of salt. You will have cattle farmers wanting to be your sugar daddy. And you will have guys wanting to bring you to a five star dining establishment (yes I'm talking about Red Lobster). :rotfl: So try as hard as you can to not laugh at them.
Also, please note: if you're a brainiac, liberal, pro-choice, pro gay rights, or not racist... keep it to yourself. And just smile and nod. You will be doing a lot of this in conversations with custys... and even some of the girls.
The rules at the time were as follows:
- You must wear pasties at all times (which are provided by the club).
- Must wear booty shorts during dances.
- Absolutely NO contact of ANY kind with custys.
- You do not sell drinks or get paid for drinking.
- On stage you get unclothed down to your pasties and thong.
- Providing you have your thong covered in booty shorts and pasties on, there is no dress code regarding the outfits or shoes you choose.
- The pay outs are low. I don't remember exactly, but something like a $30 stage fee? You tip the DJ whatyou feel is appropriate. You keep all the money from your dances.
- No license was required to dance.
As of recently tuscl.com reviews have mentioned "lap dances". I'm not sure if they're using thos as a generic term for getting a private dance, or if there has been a rule change and they are in fact allowing actual lap dances these days.
I have been wanting to go back, but wasn't sure if it'd be worth it or not. So if you go, please keep me posted!! Let me know how your visit compares to my experience.
Good luck!!! ;D

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
Hi y'all!
So I landed a job at the Silver Dollar Cabaret (formerly Stephanie's Caberet) on N. College Ave in Fayetteville. I have been there three nights so far...
I made $200 on a reallllly slow Friday night and $300 on a good Sunday night. They are the only club open on Sundays so there are more custies then. I came back last Friday and only came away with about $150...it was really slow...I only sold two dances and I know how to hustle. There were only 4 girls in total dancing that night, as opposed to usually 8 or so.
It is a nice club now--all wooden floors, nice stage, very nice girls and staff. But people still don't know it is a good club because Stephanie's club used to be so run down and gross. Younger custies (it is a college town) prefer to go to a club owned by the same guy (Big Tony--I know, right? so cliche) down the street, Platinum Cabaret. He told me he could let me work there as well, as I would probably make more money there. But he said pretty much all the girls there have been working there for 8 years or so and like, own the club...and aren't very nice. Kind of cut throat. But he said I was young and pretty enough to really do well there...I am thinking about going down there and seeing...
There is also a place close to the Missouri border called HOTS (or HOTTS??) that is supposed to have some really beautiful girls also. It is also owned by Big Tony. Some customers recommended I go there to work some nights if I am frustrated with the small amount of money I make at the Silver Dollar.
I really do enjoy the Silver Dollar though. The girls have become friends and they really do know how to dance. Especially the ones that have been there a few years--it really is their life in a way. And I really admire them and their skills. :)
It is a pastie club-- you have to have on stripper clothes of some sort or boy shorts/bra/top on the floor or when you are doing dances...but you can strip down to a thong and just pasties (that they supply for $1) on stage. You get two songs on stage--no DJ--just a juke box...they prefer like, one rap or hip hop and then a rock or country...but depending on the crowd...you can choose it to their liking.
Lap Dances are $25 and you have to sell 3 to keep all your money, otherwise you owe the club $10 for everyone you don't sell. Table dances, which I've never seen anyone buy because it is essentially the same as the stage but more money are $40. I think you have to sell 4 drinks to keep all your money or you owe a few bucks for every drink you don't sell. The waitress and bartender are really good about hustling drinks for you though. Then you owe the club either $10 or %10 or what you made that night, depending on which is higher.
In general...I can only work like, once or twice a week-- they prefer girls working there about 4 times a week...but it just can't happen as I am an hour away doing other work in Arkansas. But for some extra cash...with a really chill environment, I recommend the club...if you want to make a lot more money, probably go somewhere else though.
Hope this helps! Good luck out there in stripperville! :) I'm rooting for y'all!:-*

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
have you checked out the two in jacksonville? peaches and something else can't remember?
just drove by paper moon a couple weeks back and didn't even stop-- in a decrepit little mini mall with a place next to it that has a big broken glass window. on the opposite side, I think there's a piece of wood covering a broken window.
other than that-- it looked like a cocktail lounge in the ghetto--
might be worthwhile inside, but I didn't even stop judging from what surrounded it.

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
Number 1 Paper Moon wasn't even open in 2002. It opened in March of 2003.
Anyway don't dance at peaches in Jacksonville if you come down to Little Rock. You get fired if you don't make your schedule on Tuesdays or for any screw up--especially if you're new. Sensations is really nice. At this point they do have a lot of girls dancing but there isn't really any drama.
Paper Moon is in a little strip mall in a not so good part of Little Rock. The outside is not so pretty but the inside is very nice. I'm not sure what tip out is there anymore. I'm not sure if they play any R and B or hip hop anymore. I know for sure Sensations DOES NOT play that type of music.
I wish i knew more about the Fayetteville/Fort Smith clubs. Good luck!

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
magenta if you're talking about the rules at paper moon from back then I wonder if you were even there. I worked at Paper Moon in 2004. When Paper moon opened in 2003 those were not the rules. those rules were from the old Primetime club. Paper Moon has had the EXACT SAME rules for the 5 years they have been open and those are NOT it. Paper Moon does NOT have a 15 foot pole and there are and always have been lap dances there. Some with contact. There are extras.
Payout is not low and never has been. Used to be $45 minimum. Guys out here are not "dying" for girls with all their teeth, without meth face or not having popped out 4 kids by 18. Oh and since when do cattle farmers come into a Little Rock club? They are not very likely in a central Arkansas club. We get hunters not farmers. That's more like northwest AR.

Fantasiarene:
Sorry if I offended you. None of these comments were directed at you. I only worked there for 2 or 3 nights. And this was just my personal experience with the particular staff, dancers and custy's that were there on those specific nights.
I stand corrected. It was summer of 2003, not 2002. And you're right, the pole is probably not 15 feet. That was an exaggeration. But it is very tall in comparison to most California clubs I have worked in.
As far as doubting that I have worked there, if we're talking about the same club, it's on Mabelvale Pike across from a Sonic. Correct? I was there when the manager was dating or married to one of the dancers (if the gossip I heard was correct). If I recall correctly, she was the only one who had a breast aug. She was a pretty hot 'typical stripper style' girl with blonde hair (if I remember correctly). And she was slightly older than the rest of the girls. The restrooms are in the back part of the club, past the second dance area (the one with the small stage). The restrooms were single person. One for women one for men. The women's room had an issue with the lock on the door. It got stuck sometimes.
As far as the rules go, the rules I posted were what I was told. I didn't see any other girls doing anything that contradicted what I was told about the rules.
Again, I apologize if I said anything offensive. Looking back on what I wrote, I can totally see why you took offense to it. I would have too if roles were reversed. I apologize, and again, like I said, this was just my personal experience with those particular people on those particular days, and does not reflect you in particular or the club as a whole. It is impossible for me to say that I could give someone a complete and entire picture of something that I had only experienced for a few days. You are obviously more familiar with the club and how things operate. So, of course you have a more complete picture.
~Best regards~

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
Magenta, I'm sorry too. I was in the wrong. Things have completely changed since you were there. They took out the stage in the lap dance area and put in another men's bathroom near the main stages. I know there is a Sonic on Asher Ave. (the cross street of the intersection). I think it's near a church. I know there was a girl who was married to the manager who danced there but don't remember who. It might have been Dreamer. They really are doing lap dances with different price levels. I wouldn't reccommend dancing there anymore though. Haven't heard good things about it.
No offense taken though. I should have thought about it a little more before I responded. I'm hoping I didn't offend you.

Re: NW Arkansas Clubs
Magenta, you were there when they first opened. I cant remember the managers name at the time but the girl you are thinking of is Paige, who changed her name to Alexis. Bob was the DJ most likely, maybe Eli as well. I was there then too. I danced by Paige or Carrie. Probably Paige. Alexis changed her name like the day after I got there so I took my name back.
The rules have changed a lot since they have been opened. In fact every time I went there, cuz there would sometimes be months in between times, there was different management and different rules. Last time I went I still did very well on the weekends, 8-900. I always made REALLY good money in that club. Ther were a few of us, Kiley, me, Savannah .. there were a few.
As far as closer to Fayettville. Check out Cheyennes which is in Roland, just north of Fort Smith. It is by far the best in he area not counting Paper Moon, shich is kind of out of the area. It is a cocktail club. One way contact. Extras do go on in the VIP. Can still make moeny without extras though. There isnt a stage fee or any fee to work there. Just throw all the bouncers and Dj 2-3 dollars and they are great.
Fayettville has very strict rules. NO contact. Most places are VEARY strict about it so dont try to get away with grinding, not going to happen. Take the drive to Fort Smit or Little Rock. It will be worth it.
