Regulars.... and other peoples regulars.
So I've been at my club, and dancing for about 6 months. I've had a regular that I met his first night in the club, and I was one of the reasons he signed up for VIP membership.
There's another dancer that I'm friendly with. I wouldn't call us friends - no talking outside of work, etc. She also hangs out with this regular occasionally, but we're both friendly about it, and he'll bring us both back there at the same time and we all have a blast.
Long story short, she introduced me to one of her regulars (different guy) and now he's obsessed with me - calling the club to see when I'm working, texting me all the time, etc. One of the waitresses called me the other night to see when I'd be in cause he won't come in if I'm not there.
Great for me, not so great for her. I don't want to cause a dancer rift, but at the same time, the customer is free to make his choice. Plus she hangs out with my other regular all the time.
Meh. Any ideas? Am I making a big deal where there isn't one?
I just don't want her to think that I was trying to steal her customer when I wasn't, he is the one pursuing.
Re: Regulars.... and other peoples regulars.
you cant steal a regular. the guy is going to like who he likes no matter what either of you try and sway him to do.
make your money. act like its not a big deal becuase it isnt, if she gets mad, its not your fault.
Re: Regulars.... and other peoples regulars.
There is nothing wrong with that imo. He is able to decide who he prefers. I despise girls that go after my reg. knowing hes a sure thing, I feel like they are purposely trying to cause a rift, but if my customer chooses them , i understand.

Word up!!!! All regulars have a shelf life..for all you know, maybe that's why she introduced the two of you together..

Don't bring it up, of course. Hopefully she's level-headed enough to know that she doesn't own him. It's not like you're talking shit about her to him or anything, right?
