Hi, I'm not sure if this is a repeat thread or not but I couldn't find one. Anyway, I am going to start working for a escort agency and don't really know much about the business. Any advice or websites would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a repeat thread or not but I couldn't find one. Anyway, I am going to start working for a escort agency and don't really know much about the business. Any advice or websites would be greatly appreciated.
Well I am getting back into escorting myself I am very new at it too, as for website that are helpful for me I use www.terb.ca and www.hotbabes.to you might be in the area of Canada but I am sure those sites can help.
EDIT - in reccent soul searching, I really can't return to the escort biz, it's really an industry for someone with a thicker then thick skin to do. which I do not have I will have to stick what I have been doing and just make it work. I know my times are tough right now but I can't even bring it to myself to back to a business that I had soo much dificulties with.
I know I posted before I am not going into it, because that business or pretty much any of these business in the sex trade are VERY VERY personal. you will have to make a decission that your comfortable with and that you can look back on your life with reflection and hopefully no regrets.
I have been boucing back and forth wtih the idea of returning to it, and finally I have come to my answer I am going foward and I will be entering the world of being an escort.
I have pretty much everything these is in the body business, I have porno, webcam, phone sex, websites, stripping, escorting just one of those things on the list never did the massage palour stuff because I figure what was the point when escorting is the next thing in line.
Think about it very carefully, every pro and con, everything yes, no , maybe, every what if, can I I would say take a week to think about it but some people are able to make decission better but make sure your comfortable with all the facts.
HELL I never found out on amazon.com there book on the business of escorting I am going to be adding some of those to my library what is funny even the show Secret Diary of a Call girl has some advice in there too with some great entertainment.
As it stands I am set up wtih an agency, and I am moving foward in making sure I have the most successful career in everything I choose to related to being a sex trade worker. I love the business, I love the freedom of expression and creativity.
I am thinking just enjoy the ride and adventure and learning exprience while I can so I can look back at my life and say YEs I lived a full life that I know I enjoyed and created every moment for myself.
Just be very, very, very sure you know what you're getting yourself into and especially that you can trust your agency. The people you work with/for are your lifeline if you have problems, and you want to make sure that they'll have your back if you do.
It's not an easy job, and I don't believe most people are suited to do it...so if you try and it's not for you, don't keep doing it! I know that sounds obvious but so many girls get addicted to the money and do things they're not comfortable with...it's sad! :(
Make your limits very clear to your agency (I will NOT do this, this or this) so that they won't send you to clients requesting that. Make sure to keep a firm stance on those kinds of things; don't let clients intimidate you. A lot of girls, when they start, let the clients do whatever they want because they paid for the hour or whatever. The client doesn't OWN you, doesn't have the right to intimidate you or push you into doing anything you're not comfortable with and if they try repeatedly, leave! You want an agency that'll back you up on that, too.
I didn't really read any websites or anything before I started working...I think the best resource I had was talking with girls at the agency.
As I just said in another thread; girls come here looking for information not negative judgments on the industry, especially not from customers.
Thank you
Jenny
We had a good thread going about it in Stripping general was it? I'm too lazy to link it but I think some great info was in that thread. Me and many other girls that have worked as escorts gave really unbiased info. Also there were good questions posed. Personally it was very informative.
best of luck
I also did some searches on amazon amazingly there is a lot of books on the business, and also autobiographies of girls who were escorts.
I found a lot of them to be helpful in giving me insight of a business that I never really experience even though I am so close to doing it from pornos.
Trust your gut instinct. Im serious about this. If you feel you can't have your back to him, decline the rest of the session. You don't need the money that badly. Seriously. If something is off, it's off.
Never do anything you'll regret later.
Know your boundaries.
Have a cell phone.
Have an agenda and don't take on too much in a day.
Make sure you look around for cameras. There are fuckfaces who make amateur pr0n.
Look for sharp objects, guns, whatever.
Never ask personal identifiable questions i.e. address or contact info.
NEVER offer your phone no. to clients.
Always look out of the peephole to see if he brought someone with him.
Be polite to hotel staff.
Don't take unopened alcohol or use drugs with clients. Keep an eye on your drink at all times NEVER leave it alone. Take it to the bathroom, take it if you need to hand the money to someone, make sure you are there when the bottle is opened and see he drinks first.
Always always always get the money first.
Don't make it obvious you're checking out the time.
The money is never worth it if you have a problem with anything. Say you are not feeling well, or you have your period, or your kids are calling you, famiyl emergency, whatever.

If you don't already, some sort of counsellor, therapist is good. I'm just saying this because there's a good chance that while some of your co-workers will be supportive and you get to bitch to each other about work related things, it's good to have "outside" people who aren't connected to your circle (friends, family, etc.) to talk to, just to get things out.
Wow you just summed up the first episode of secret diary of a call girl.
Somethings I have done that you mentioned others I would say I ignored my instictints me going back in. I am really looking at things at a different perspective.
and I think I will read some of the books I found on amazon.com.
Yes it was very rude.........READ......understand context.....than answer;D ;)
Sigh. My defenses go up when people who aren't or who have never been in this industry suddenly say, "I could never do this". Okay that's great sweetheart. Now, get out of the thread. Have any advice? No? Yeah, I did read. I do understand the context. I've done the work, and it ain't fucking easy. And then I answered. I'm beyond blunt. It's a blunt business, ha! There you go. More advice to those who are thinking about escorting.
But yeah, police can make busts on escorts agencies - not so much in Canada, but everyone still runs the risk. Up here, it's legal to be a pro but the activities associated with it. (??) On one hand, agencies do provide drivers, some protection by providing screening services, etc. Numbers are blackballed and shared among those in the industry. Most of the time, it's only due to public outcry, as police don't really care about "bawdy houses" - what sometimes happens, and only once in a blue moon is that they'll slap a fine on you, and that money has to go to charity. The last time that happened at my previous agency was 10 years ago. They donated the money to a centre that serves as a community safe space for street women.
But I have no idea what the deal is in the States.
I understand being defensive - but I agree that there is a difference between "That sounds really hard" and "You shouldn't do that."
Thanks for your information on Canadian escorting. It is very useful to many people, I'm sure.
Try my book: The Business Side of Escorting II. It's available on Amazon and you can even read excerpts from it at the Amazon site. Do not buy my first book. My second book includes everything in the first book plus about 150 pages of new and updated material.
OCWizard
again... they should open up more brothels
*bumpety bump*
Take Secret Diary of a Call Girl with a grain of salt. There are some things that are real about it, but your clients won't look like GQ models. It's entertainment. Believe about 25% of it.
The most realistic escort blog out there in my very biased opinion is: . You can learn a lot by reading it.
Also take a look at .
Oh and, much as I wanted to dismiss OC Wizard's book because he's a dude *and* a hobbyist dude at that, it's pretty good.
