They still make that? or that still exists?
Ok so I was wondering what things have you seen recently and said "they still make that?" or "that still exists?" or "people still use those?"
I know some people must use them but I had not seen a shoe repair shop in a looooong time but the other day I did, kind of amused by it.
You? :)

This little device from my childhood:

Granted, they brought it back, but still.

I'm always suprised to see The Little Mermaid on things. That movie came out when I was a little girl. A bit shocking she's still popular.

I remember when I was a tiny tot back in the 70's, my mom was trying to lose weight. And she had this weird contraption with pullies and nylon rope that attached to the doorknob.. the person would lie on the floor, place their feet in a couple stirrups so that when they'd pull on the rope, their leg would raise up off the floor.. back and forth, left and right.. a hand, a fist.. hoocha hoocha hoocha... lobster. (sorry, vague unrelated reference that made me laugh anyway, and isn't that what's important?)
So yeah.. happened to notice the dumb things on ebay just the other day! I thought "you gotta be kidding me".. they've tagged 'em as Pilates equipment now I guess.

I think that's more of a gesture than a maneuver.

Nearly every time I buy deodorant I remember the big advertising push on the Friday Night Fights by Gillette to convince guys that it was OK to wear deodorant.

The "This forums are the Sripperweb's gutter aren't they?" thread. No wait! The "No sweatpant dances EVER!!!" thread. Hmm... or maybe the "I'm a thread killer" thread. Sorry Limabean. I may not be contributing to the Pink Side anymore but I can still prevent you from winning!
