[quote=Joplin;1631347]Well we are responding to you in this thread to make our frustrations obvious. I'm asking you a real question, not a rhetorical one here: Do you honestly think that people who can't read old 5 page threads because they're ADD, dumb or lazy or whatever are going to read the long posts in your Hh FAQ's thread? If yes, why?[/qoute]
I think it depends on how the FAQ is laid out. That is the biggest problem with the faq... making it condensed and organized. I can always edit the op to make adjustments to the "rules" <--- i say that very loosely.
I think your right too about how it will become a huge long ass thing (if people continue to utilize it) But we can't make blanket statements either. Just because it won't help all the people that don't know how to use the search function, it will undoubtedly help some.
BTW I really respect your opinions, so far you've presented the most valid arguments for the "old timers" and I appreciate the time and effort that's taken
Because it's a more positive way of making your point and if the original topic is your interested in it's really beneficial to do the research it takes to awnser something in the FAQ.
It takes a little bit of optimism and it's really just another option... not something that you should HAVE to do.
I apologize too btw, i didn't realize that you weren't just asking theoretically.
