Re: Guaranteed loss tonght
Never do the pity hustle. It turns customers off and makes you look bad. You are setting yourself up for a 'self fufilling prophecy', meaning if you convine yourself it will be a total loss, it will be a total loss.
My best advice is if you are 'sure it's going to be a complete loss', then make the best of it. Go there not to make money, but just to have a good time. Just make sure you are doing this on the floor with customers, not wasting time in the dressing room with other girls.
Why will this advice work? Because: If you are dreading every minute of being there, the customers WILL feel it and will NOT want to give you money. HOWEVER, if you are there 'just' to party with them (to be flirty, funny, ect) I guaruntee they WILL want to give you money.
This approach will in effect turn your night around.
Of course don't be shy about asking for money, just use your 'spidey sense' as to when it's appropriate. Be clever and funny when you ask and they'll want to give to to you. Something like: (during a good converstation with a guy) In a cute voice say " Hmmm you know... I just realized how terribly charming I have been during this converstaion!!! (make a face like you are surprised or proud of yourself) And I get the feeling that you would like to reward me for showing you such a FANTASTIC time! (BIG SMILE)"
Even when pickings are slim, it's amazing how much money you can make just by making customers feel good/happy. Make them laugh and they will give you money!!
If adapting your hustle doesn't bring in money (if the club just really doen't have decent customers) it's probably time to shop around for a new club.
Good luck!! ;D
Re: Guaranteed loss tonght
Wed. is a good night to try a different club. Slower nights are good for auditioning, paperwork. Then you get to be the new girl.
That said, trying new places is such a pain in the ass. If you like your club then just go. If you are like me you will find something to spend money on at home.
Re: Guaranteed loss tonght
You girls were so helpful. I met a nice taxi driver who gave me a cheap fare of $10 there and back.So made $90 profit, got to know some nice girls, practised on the pole, and met some potential regulars.
What have i learned? DO NOT go into work with "I will not make any money" etched in my brain. The biggest girl in the club got a $200 VIP with a gentleman i only sold 1 dance to. Perhaps a little more confidence could have swayed him my way.
As advised i did not pity hustle, and i became better at spidey sensing and finding appropriate conversation stages to return the convo to dance asking time (and found more creative ways to ask for a dance). I only sold the $40 nude dances (we have $20 topless too), because I challenged objections with "You may as well go all out since you are getting a dance anyway" and "you will be kicking yourself about this later".
As for the reason why i'm at this club: no clubs around here are busy, this is the closest to my home, and i am losing some weight before trying out at my dream club. The money is hit and miss like any other i guess, and Saturday was unusually quiet.
There is a downside however: a co workr had put up her x-pole for a ladies night and i had a go on it. OH SO GRIPPY! I have to get one.
-ETA- There were no sexual advances like there were on Sat. Well...one guy offered to be my pimp if i were his high class escort, but he also told me he was a cross dressing builder who was hoping to get a job in my club. Some guys enjoy the BS :D
Re: Guaranteed loss tonght
Glad your perspective changed. The last time I worked a crappy weeknight shift, I got $400 off one guy :) You never know what can happen!!!
