Do you shame non-tippers?
I was on "showbar" last night, which is just like it sounds, a bar/stage. Some stereotypical PL was sitting there in thin silky jogging pants, with a nasty crusty receding hairline, and molester glasses. He looked like he told his wife he was going to the gym. He literally PUT HIS MONEY AWAY after I came over and did my little dance for him. I went off on him, but really quietly. I hissed "Don't you have any manners? Can't you afford a dollar? What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
Is it wrong for me to do this? I felt good embarrassing and shaming him. He should be ashamed! Don't sit at a stage (EVEN IF IT'S A BAR) if you don't want to tip. It's like a parking meter. $1 per song. Even if you tip every girl up for an hour, that's 15 songs at 4 minutes long. Oh jeez! $15 for an hour of naked entertainment.
Luckily, I got a VIP with a decent guy sitting two seats down from him, and a VIP for my friend with his friend. They even heard what I said to him! They thought it was funny.
Fucking PL.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
I usually don't think it's a good idea, but you can hardly be faulted for doing it once in a while. If he doesn't want to part with his precious dollar, he should sit somewhere where the stage is obscured, then turn his chair around to face the wall.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
Yeah every once in awhile... if I don't get money, at least I get a little satisfaction.
Usually the non-tipper is right next to a tipper to I make it a point to praise the tipper. I don't want too much negative energy, you know?

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
i always make them feel stupid. cause they just made me feel stupid for shaking my ass for free. i hate turning around, asking for a tip, and they're like "huh?" im like "wheres my tip?" "oh i dont have any money" "then why the fuck are you at the TIP RAIL"
-
Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
i ignore them. as i've said before, giving them a big reaction is like encouraging them. a lot of them have the minds of children and think it's "funny" that they "got to you".
i really wish more dancers would ignore them.. and i ESPECIALLY wish girls would stop sitting with these guys for free for extended periods of time.
i won't lie, i -have- snapped a few times, but in general.. more and more.. i only "reward" good behavior with a response. i learned that in my dog's obedience class. :P

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
Oh man, I am a beast about this at work. I mean, it kind of works because right now I'm playing up the whole dark hair/tattoo/domina thing at work but I just can't hold back. I am, however, uber-sweet to the tippers.
But it's at the point where, if a guy is in and not tipping or spending, even my managers and other girls will be like "Hey, go over there and give him hell" heh.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
Sometimes I'll put on a super sexy huge show and get everyones attention to him. I kinda peer pressure him to tip. Then when he tips a crunch up the dollar and throw it in his face.
These young kids have started something new in my club... they line up thier chairs (from tables) just behind the tip rail chairs. ARRRR!! So they can see close but are not 'technically' required to tip. I flipped the fuck out on them. The bouncers chased them away, but they pull this often and it goes on for a couple hours before they get scolded.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
In SD, guys usually tip during the tipwalk afterwards. I never gave them shit while onstage. But, I would say something if they tried to jip me afterwards. The most common line was, "I need to get change when the waitress comes back". If I wasn't busy, I would sure as hell come back to them and ask them if they got their change back. Over half of the time I got my dollar and they didn't give me a hard time during the next round.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
I would ignore any loser that doesn't tip.
I think it kinda makes you look bad....
I wouldn't give him the satisfaction...if he refuses to tip I'd walk away and dance for someone else that is willing to do so... and not even look his way.
-
Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
Yes. I do. Every chance I get. I don't care if it makes me look bad or not.
-
Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
i mean, yeah, it makes me look bad a bitchy but like... that's kind of my selling point, haha. so......

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
I just "accidentally" knock his drink in his lap. oops!

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
I shame them in a very cheeky way. I use humour to get my point across with EVERYTHING. So anybody overhearing thinks it's funny/great.
Like if they don't tip I'll go, "Oh honey!! Did the misses take all your money before you left? How embarassing you can't even give a dollar!"

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
The club I work (and various others I've worked) has a dollar-per-person-per-song rule, non-optional. If someone's being a jerkwad, I usually just mention it to the bartender after my set (or between songs if it's slow) - it's their job to be the bad cop.
Sometimes if I think they're just clueless (maybe thought they tipped) and they're otherwise being polite and interested, I let it slide as insurance toward a future dance. It's a gamble, but it's worked for me at least a couple times. If I think they're just clueless but probably won't get a dance, I clue them myself as nicely as possible.

Thats so FUNNY! I will grab their legs ( on the thigh ) feel of it and say .. " Gosh it's not broken. So that means you can get up and TIP"
Does it make me an ass? Sure it does. Gotta keep up the bitch rep. :)

First of all, kudos for telling him off. Guys like that are fucking scum. I don't even consider them people... they're just trash, plain trash, cheap pathetic pieces of shit and worthless ingrates.
Also, this fits in perfectly with my philosophy on sweatpants in the strip club. And I think we all know what that is... http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99564
Kudos again }:D

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
"You're watching me right.?? - Yeaaahhhh... Enjoying my show..??- Yeahhha... you're hot!... SO THAT MEANS YOU'RE TIPPING?????"
Usually leads to another yeahh : )

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
Usually I won't waste a minute on a broke-ass piece of shit over a dollar, but if I'm in the right mood...
...I just STARE at the offending non-tipper. No words, no smile, just a blank STARE.
The reactions are always truly hilarious. First they start fidgeting and darting their eyes around trying not to look at me. Then they start stammering and spouting a bunch of lame small talk lines: my favorite is "do you not speak English or something?" Of course I don't respond; I just keep staring silently. After about 30 seconds, they turn bright red and feel so awkward that they throw money at me just to get me to leave.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
^I've done that before. :) They usually try to stare back.

yeah...doesn't work for more than 30 seconds though. ;) I don't think I've ever lost a staredown, inside the club or out.

Re: Do you shame non-tippers?
I do it in a sort of sweet dumb way. As I leave and the next girl comes up, I'll pass by the offender and say something like "You're going to at least tip Peaches, aren't you? I mean look at her, she's so hot!" Guy mumbles yes and usually gives me a couple bucks too.

^^Hell yes i love you! Ignoring them is almost like letting them win in a way because they're HOPING they can hide. Fuck that! I do my fucking dance and pull out my garter. They usually cough it up real quick. If not, they just made an ass out of themselves, and I'll yell over the music "Yeah, that's what I thought!"
If I saw someone put their money back in their pocket at the tip rail after I did my dance... I'd squat and hold out my garter. Shame makes pockets open up real quick sometimes. Can't blame the OP for mouthing off though. It's horrible to treat customers that way, but DAMN i can't point blame. I've gotten pissed like that too! Sweatpants dollar stashing man is no match for the jaded stripper that has eyes in the back of her head. Good for you!
