When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Since SW is full of goal oriented, motivated women, I'm curious to know where all of you plan to end up, and when?
For me, I plan on dancing another 3 or 4 years (will put me at a grand total of 6) I want to finish my Bachelor's degree in Finance. Not sure what kind of job I want to do, but something where I make great money and have a flexible schedule (no desk job, no 9-5!) Eventually I'd love to get married and have kids, but only if I find the right person to do it with. I hope to buy a home next year and have it paid off completely by the time I retire from dancing. ;D

As for me...I'd eventually like to end up on a ranch with lots of land. Lots of animals of my own plus a rescue I run. Of course..I'd also like to end up an award winning mainstream actress too...sigh...maybe...
If I can live my life happy and helping animals though I'll be happy. Being rich would be lovely...I'd LOVE to be able to spoil my friends silly!! But as long as the bills are paid and I have a nice home with no neighbors..lol...and am contributing to the care and well being of animals..I'll be a happy girl.

Well, my work life is great right now so Id like to keep that as it is.
I need to change my house.
I get envious when I see couples over 50-ish out to dinner and having fun, so Im assuming I want to settle down eventually.
Doesnt get more complex than that
EDIT: I forgot, I want a black and white Billy Goat called Adam :)

Where do I want to end up?
I want to end up happy. No matter what I'm doing.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Well, I don't want to be lap dancing for the rest of my life, I've been doing it 6 years so far and I'll keep doing it until my business takes off enough that it can pay me a wage. Hopefully that will be in the next year or so, (everyone keep their fingers crossed!)
Once this happens I'll still dance but not every weekend as I'd love a weekend off now and again! I'd like to buy a house next year with a garden, after that I haven't thought that far ahead. I'm not really bothered about being really rich or having a big house and a fancy car, it's nice to have money but it's not that important to me, I don't think money neccessaraly brings happiness. As long as I have enough to pay the bills thats fine with me.:)

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
I don't care where I end up, as long as I feel like I've done things. Not even the right things all the time, as long as I've tried to make the right moves. I'm terrified of all the time I waste...I worry it's going to make me so guilty down the road.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
On my feet, in my right mind, and comfortable.
More than myself though... I want my future kids to be secure and content and I want wealth that will last at least 3 generations. So... I want my great grandkids to be going to college and getting their start on my dime. And I want them to have the work ethic of making sure that 3 generations ahead of them will be straight, too.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
I want to be happy, in love with someone who loves me (married or unmarried- doesn't matter to me). Careerwise I want to be an advance pratice nurse with a MSN making 6 figures in some setting other than a hospital since nurses there are usually overworked. Not to mention as healthy as possible.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
My short term goal is to finish this term with an A average (I'm on track to do that). Then I want to finish my two years in community college and transfer to University of Oregon. Then finish my four year degree in economics.
Then work on an economic model that wins me the Nobel peace prize. Then go on the speaking circuit until I die.
So really my goals are straight forward...}:D

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Our main goal plan involves buying a house in Portland next year and me retiring from dancing this year. I'll keep taking production jobs now that I'm kicking ass as a department head, and K has gotten really into my writing and his career is approaching the point at which he can support me while I work on my writing career. Eventually we'd like to adopt a child or two and be able to travel with K when he works, and I'd homeschool our kid(s) and write.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Ideally i'm hoping when i quit (not anytime soon) i'll be in a position where my investments support my lifestyle. Although I wouldn't mind still doing consulting and real estate on the side. No 9-5 for me though.;D

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
I have three more years until I'm done with school completely (getting my degree at an alternative but still accredited college in psych + holistic healing), so I plan on dancing and saving as much money as possible for the next three years. When I'm 23, I will start my own business or open my own private practice (depending on where my degree takes me and what i feel like specializing in), save up a ton of money, and then buy a ton of land and start a commune, or become a member of an already existing commune that operates with the values and goals I find important. By the time I'm 24 I want to be living in a commune/ecovillage type living situation and using my degree to help people heal themselves. Oh, and I see myself living in New Zealand. I want the commune to be in a place that is not entirely remote so that I can offer my services to everyone.
or/and:
I want to open an erotic performance based strip club that is 60's/70's inspired and stage centered with burlesque, fire dancing, hula hooping, bellydancing, pole dancing and whatever else that is cool and not strictly stripping, and and call it the velvet underground. hahaha. I will hire strippers with real talent. It will be kind of like crazy horse but the dancers will have more creative input and individuality, and there will be private dances/vip's available like a regular strip club.

career-wise: i want to work the UN (possibly an interpreter) and be fluent in french, spanish, portuguese and hopefully more languages. for my personal life: i want to live in different places and do this while i'm young-ish and travel all over the world! god i'm cheesy.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
I've been a little groundless lately as far as careers go. I have a Master's degree in an English-related field, and could continue on that path if I chose -- and I know I do want to write and sell stories -- but I don't know if I want that to both be my life's purpose and my main source of income. Part of me loves the idea and part of me is terrified. And the jobs I could get in that field -- teaching writing, etc -- well, I could do them well, but on the other hand I have heard from many people that it has the potential to cause burnout in one's own work. So I am being cautious. I want a life I love; I will settle for nothing less.
So I'm looking into getting another degree or certification in a medical field, but I'm not sure which.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Happiness, of course.
*Looks at list* Let's see...
7 more years of psychology to pay for the art supplies, the endurance to run like Forrest Gump, making my own techno music (and of course writing all the lyrics), designing my own home, creating new age art, publishing a very complex book (so complex, it'll be awhile)...
Basically, to be an artist in every way, but not make money off of it, because money corrupts everything I once loved. Oh, Marxism, you make such a point.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that whole husband thing... I know the type of person I want to marry, and if we don't meet, fuck 'em. I don't rely on others for happiness, and the world's overpopulated as it is.

You took the words from my mouth!
As long as I have my husband and family(eventually) I will be a happy happy girl. But, after dancing I want to go into hotel management, or possibly own my own little resturant. I don't aspire to be wealthy. So I am going back to school for business and hospitality management and am soo excited. I really want to do something that I can do with my husband and will give us alot of time together.

I want to end up happy and loved too.
Tho' in the grand scheme of things my ultimate dream is to not ever really have to "work" (as in physical work) ever again. If so, it is animal orientated type of work (such as dog grooming which I'm seriously looking into right now).
Live on a property (with spaaaaaaaace... so acerage would be nice!) with a snake or two, some rats (some for pets, some for snake food), cats, dogs and space to be able to rehabilitate native wildlife (which ones? don't know as yet).
Have $2000 per week in passive income .. or at least be able to do something that doesn't require a lot of "man hours" as such and still pull in that sort of money per week.
Have a winebago so I can road trip around Australia ... or if not one of them... a decent car and camping gear.
Yet in the end, just being happy and loved is all I ask.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
Tenure, loving relationship, and traveling twice per year for both research and recreation.

Re: When it's all said and done, where do you want to end up?
I'm very happy with what I have now - married to a great guy, 2 adorable daughters, 3 cars, and a house on the lake.
Career-wise, I am in the middle of completing courses to obtain my real estate license in the state of Texas. I plan to dance (and save!!), until I get myself established & start making $$ in commerical real estate.
