Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
I have been so hesitant to post a thread like this bc I do on some level feel its negative but I MUST vent!
In the last six months or so shit has gotten so rediculous in the club!! Part of why I started doing phone sex and web cam was go get away from it, but I feel like now even those guys are doing it too!!
I just feel like lately, it has been clearly slow at work and I'm a good hustler. Guys have been fucking with me lately I swear to GOD! It's like, theyre all sure I want a dance lets go....then , somehow, on the way to the dance room they change their mind. Or even more fun (this is common in WI with all the alkies so it hasnt been bothering me until late) "Let's wait til I finish my drink and then we'll go back there!" So I sit with them for five minutes til they finish their drink and then they "change their mind."
It's not like it's me. Honestly, I would know if it was me. I see this happening to EVERYONE!!! And the once full lapdance room is now a ghostyard.
I thought NiteFlirt was my saving grace but even now they've been wasting my time on there , emailing me for a few times before getting a show to talk about what they want then requesting free minutes! It's like I'm getting tackeled from all sides here people!!
Is anyone else experiencing this? And how do you deal with it? Help Please!

yep according to the tuscl site the recession has put scjunkies in desperate dancer heaven pffft. i think they feel like they are more in control nowcor something wtf?

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
last night, i did 2 dances for 2 different customers up until around 10 minutes before close, when i got 4 dances from one customer. what a busy night. the last guy was easy and pleasant.
the first two...
the first one thought (or pretended to think) that the 5 dollars to get into the private dance area was the cost of the dance, and i basically took the next full song to get the money from him for my dance. bear in mind that before we started i told him the price of a dance.
the second acted all surprised when the song was over, like what that's all. yes, that's all. sorry. he too acted all offended when i expected to be paid.
the economy in tampa started going to shit at least a year ago, though, so i think it had more to do with good customers not showing up because of the tropical storm, not as much to do with the economy.
like, really...our club has some of the hottest girls in the area. if you want a bargain, go to seven seas. don't ask us.

I don't think it's because you're making less. I think it's because they're making less!

I have been responding to that with, "bring your drink!". It's worked everytime a guy has said that to me. Pick up their drink for them and start walking!
(Can they bring their drink to your LD area?).

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
^^^Hell yes. Unless I know the dude I ain't going for that "Lemme finish my drink" shit. If I'm asking it means I've already spent a sufficient amount of time. If he won't take the drink to the lapdance room then I basically tell him I need to keep circulating and that I'll check back when he's ready.

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
Maybe it's your club and the type of guys its attracting. If the lap dance room is empty then clearly it's not just u affected.
I honestly havent noticed it. I have always found those time waster type guys and always avoided them.
-
Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
I do notice guys are more pushy on slower nights.

ITA.
Many customers are wanting the same treatment for less money. It's like no buddy you're getting away with it.

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
i think it's only making the cheap guys "take advantage". the decent customers still believe in paying for our time and most of them think "if i can't afford to go, i won't go" ..... which is why you're not seeing a lot of them. therefor.. clubs have a higher % of cheap men in the club because they're the guys that are ok with sitting there free in the first place.
and the situation keeps occurring, because it's -easier- for that type of guy to continue to be cheap and get attention from dancers when no one else in the club is spending either. it makes them feel justified.
i had this situation at work monday at the start of my shift:
13 girls working (day shift) and 1 customer at the bar.
i decide to go play the bar game to keep myself from staring blankly at the wall and going crazy.
a "new customer" walks in... walks straight up to me while i'm playing the game... and says hi. of course i stop playing and say hi back, how are you?, etc...
he says "is XXX here?" (name hidden in case others at my work read this board) and i'm like "i just saw her getting ready in the back, she'll be out in a minute" and i go back to pushing buttons on the game. he puts his hand on my shoulder and says "can you go get her for me?" ..... i say "sure" because i don't want to be rude, even though in my head i'm thinking "what? you can't pick one of these other girls sitting here NOT doing anything?!?!"
so i go tell her and she says "in a minute" so i go back to my game where the guy is still standing. i sit back down and tell him she'll be out shortly and he starts chatting to me. here's how the convo goes...
customer: you're really pretty
me: thank you! *smile*
customer: wow it's dead in here huh?
me: yes
customer: is it always like this? (can someone tell me why EVERY customer asks this?)
me: lately it has been (i mumble something about summer and the economy)
customer: is there only 1 customer in here?!?!
me: 2 ... that guy and you
customer: oh! i'm not a customer *laughs* i just came to give XXX something
me: oh. *completely dead pan* fantastic
customer: how are you going to make money like this?
me: i don't know dude. (at this point i'm nearly completely turned away from him and have gone back to the game)
customer: that's gotta suck
me: ................yes. yes it does.
this goes on for 5 more minutes. at some point he asks why no one is on stage. um.. because there's no customers?!? and if YOU "aren't a customer", why do you give a shit???
then of course the best part happens. said dancer comes out of dressing room and walks up to the guy. i can tell she's nervous because i'm sitting there, but i don't know why, until i see what he came in to give her.....
a hotel key.
perfect.
perfectperfectperfect.

yes! the best part is he LAUGHED after saying it... and it was in that sort of "ohhh i'm not an idiot" tone. as if i were insulting him by assuming he were. you know, like he isn't "a sucker".

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
Dude, if you're in the club, you're a customer. I hate how some guys think they are somehow "above" all the other customers.
-
Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
^yeah. have you heard the ole "i'm just the driver/just hear for support/just..." lines?
lol
-
Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
^^^Yup, one guy was trying to convince me to hire him as driver and he told me "I don't take girls for dances. I'm a gentleman and I'd rather buy a lady a drink." Yeah, no thanks. You can keep your drinks and your driving LOL

Word up. Dances / strip clubs are a luxury item. Even if they can't afford it they'll still stick to their old habits. Bleah!

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
I don't put up with that crap. PERIOD! if they start with that I tell them to get some lube and a glossy mag. That plus a six pack of beer is cheaper in the longrun.. Plus they can look at their UGLY so/wife/gf for free.
whatthefuckever..

almost the same thing happened to me on monday night too. this chic is sitting with a guy for like an hour or so, he tipped her well on stage, she sits down for like another 20 min then she has to leave because of she wasn't " mentally prepared to work that night" she leaves he sticks around for 1 more drink then leaves. she's notorious for going home with customers so its pretty obvious what just happened. then that same night a guy that usually pays pretty well for time saw how dead it was and only gave me 10$ for wasting an hour of my time. i rolled my eyes and said you must need it more then i do and gave it back to him.

Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
guys have less money plus they know we are making less overall so they think we'll do more for the money. So they try to squeeze every dime out of that dollar by groping us or licking or trying to fuck us or whatever.
Ugh...if you cant afford me stay your fucking cheap ass at HOME. They do it on webcam too...demanding that you take your clothes off during free chat and getting all pissy when you tell them they have to pay for that.
It REALLY pisses me off. Do you REALLY not know you have to PAY for that shit?? And then we get guys come on HERE with BRILLIANT fucking ideas like we should all walk around the club naked all night. Yeah..that'd be great for YOUR cheapass..not so much for OUR walllets thanks. Fuck off.
-
Re: Do you feel customers are taking advantage of the fact we're all making less now?
Short answer: Yes, I do feel that guys are taking advantage of the situation.
I wrote an entreaty in hustle hut begging for info on what to do about these assholes. Because seriously, in my neck of the woods, it has gotten past the point of "if a guy wants to bargain just move on to the next custy". That advice was no longer valid since such a huge portion of the customer base was trying to take advantage of the fact that more girls were willing to do more things for less money.
If you care to give this a glance.... it's pretty interesting. http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=113130

he's been told about the same girl for the same reason a billion times before. unfortunately, she's a "favorite" of his and he "feels bad for her" because she's a single mom (nevermind her heroin addiction).
i never thought it would get like this at my club. there's still nothing happening extras wise INSIDE the club, but the GM is definitely letting girls escort on the side.. or at least is looking the other way.
and i don't give a shit if any of my club's management reads this board. yes, i'm telling everyone you're letting hookers fuck customers outside of the club. because it's true. it wasn't like this when i started there over 2 years ago. it's a recent development.
