To all that read my post yesterday...
Let I remind you that I was angry at the time when I posted the "Jealous Bitches" post and reading it now I've said A LOT of things that came out the wrong way that have obviously offended people in some way which were NOT my intentions (I knew that I was angry at the time so if I did post anything sounding ignorant, I put vent post BEWARE title) .
Sorry for the misinterpretations and let me remind you, I did NOT mean to sound concieted.
Thank for all the advice SWers.
Re: To all that read my post yesterday...
I didn't think you sounded conceited. I really don't know why some people got so riled up over it. We should all understand what a "rant" is around here.
I'd say that there are some people who owe you an apology, personally. But I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
Re: To all that read my post yesterday...
IMO, Orange County is a tougher place than most to be miscegenated AND assimilated. I'm not sure that every person who lit you up yesterday was aware of the socioeconomic and geopolitical undertones behind your rant.
Nevertheless, many people twice your age have a difficult time apologizing like you did today--even when they believe that it's warranted. Hats off to you LX18... :hat:
Re: To all that read my post yesterday...
I couldnt understand why people felt the need to get their knickers in a knot yesterday!

Clearly. I'm not sure some people are aware of more than the sights and sounds inside their own asses.
What was up with all the white chicks in that thread trying to insert their opinion? I think it's a well known fact that color/shading and beauty/power are a big issue in African American cultures (as well as others). (Check out the ruling classes of TONS of predominantly brown and black countries--they are the whitest folks. The PM of Jamaica has blue eyes. The President of Mexico looks like a regular old white dude. This is actually, you know, like, an issue an stuff.) I've had several mixed female friends who've shared stories of their unique issues in dealing with both blacks and whites.
STFU and listen to others and you might actually learn something. Jesus.
You don't need to apologize, Miss Lady. IMO you deserve a few apologies.
By the way, I agree that Orange County is, like, totally a bad place to be misedumacated.
;)

The OC & many parts of SoCal retain a lot of really racist thinking. It's very sad. I only commented on your not having changed jobs yet- simply because you always sound unhappy when you post. But kudos for posting this...
