i dont normally post on here just look at the threads but anyway.
me and my best friend have decided to actually become strippers for real now (we applied at scores and bad girls platnium at the start of the year but couldnt end up going through with it because it was too hard without our licenses etc. back then)
anyways i was just wondering what people from australia think the best club to start out in brisbane is if your new at stripping. or is it all just much of a muchness?
thanks for any opinions!

Minx is not good to start... it's no money.
I'd say Velvet or Cabaret.

Tho' for a good 'beginners' club I do recommend Players Gold Coast. If you can deal with Players, you can work anywhere after that.. hahaha. Ok, so it isn't a Brisbane club yet it is worth mentioning.
It is all much of a muchness in the end. All the clubs in SEQ allow touching. The degree is up to the club yet you must be comfortable with breast and above the waist touching at the very least. Plus the majority of clubs in Brisbane take a percentage of all the dances you sell.
Unless you have no other options and/or are only doing it for extra money, I wouldn't recommend stripping in SEQ as a full time business.
You do have ABNs right?

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
She didn't say Lisa owned both clubs, she said both clubs were women owned and Lisa managed ONE of them.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
If youre totally new to stripping, maybe not The Cabaret Club as it has a much higher contact level than other clubs. Even some seasoned strippers find it hard to put up with and it might be better to start somewhere else where you can work out your boundries and find your dancing style. Probably anywhere else for few days or a week or two until you get the hang.
Have you been inside any other clubs to check them out - thats always a good idea if you can (-:

Oh shit Miss Q, you're right. I used to dance in LA and totally forgot that's not the norm. Eeek.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
i think minx is the best club to start, you do not won munch money there, but they maneger there would apply ABN for you and teach you dance. i think that s most important part.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
apply for an ABN online at http://www.abr.gov.au/ABR_BC/
best to go into each club and talk to the manager and ask them all the questions you have and once you find a club that you like the best work there. What suits one girl and she finds awesome and makes good $$ the next girl hates and can't stand or make a $1! Not every girl suits the same thing, and our individual personalities dictate this! Just make sure you ask the questions you have, and if you would like to know about the club from a dancers point of view as us and ask the girls in the clubs, but always make the decision for yourself!!

anywhere that offers training is probably best. Universal or minx. ;)

When a Tiger comes
Two guys were walking through the jungle. All of a sudden, a tiger appears from a distance, running towards them. One of the guys takes out a pair of "Nikes" from his bag and starts to put them on. The other guy with a surprised look and exclaims, "Do you think you will run faster than the tiger with those?" His friend replies: "I don't have to out run it, I just have to run faster than you." cheap wow power leveling (World of warcraft Power Leveling):---------------------------------------------------------------------------------We offer and World of Warcraft Powerleveling, , Buy Cheap WoW Power Leveling, enjoy best service:cheap , , buy ,

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Cabaret earns more than anyone else, though for a very good reason, they do $5 LD's with contact, with seedy junkies, hobos and filthy cheap men. You are degraded for $5 and to make the money you have to have like 100 men touch you in one night.
Players, Minx and Hooters, while nice to work at, have no money at all going through them.
I'dd suggest Velvet, you'll make a bit of money, and get used to dancing.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Huh... the funny thing is.. the night I worked in Cabaret, yeah I did $5 dances but I don't recall a single person touching me. Haha!
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Yeah, it really depends on the night and on the customers at Cabaret. Often you'll get the young guys out clubbing who are too scared to touch you, but you'll also get the old perverts who try and make their $5 go as far as possible.
I just wish it was the other way around, the young cute guys doing the touching and the filthy old men sitting back in their chairs.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
I don't want anyone touching me! Hahaha. I don't care if they're cute. :P
But I'm a Pwincess.
However now and then there comes a guy I just really. really. really. want to shag.
Damn my 'no fucks from work' policy. DAMN IT ALL TO HECK.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
What can you make on an average week end / week day night at cabaret??? Thinkin of going there?

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
If you have a bad hustle you'll be relying on your stage sets alone, so on a weekday (Sunday to Wednesday) you'll look at under $100 a night after house fees.
Friday and Saturday you can make around $500-800 with no hustle (for both nights combined) off the stage sets alone.
If you have a great hustle, weeknights (the main nights when men who want private dances are in) you can get around $250 - $500 off private dances an stage combined. Hustle on the weekend an get about $800 on both nights.
With a good hustle you can easily earn $1500 to 2k working 4 or 5 nights a week. YOU HAVE TO REALLY HUSTLE TO GET THAT MONEY THOUGH, and be somewhat good looking.
With a bad hustle, bad looks or no conversation skills you can get about $800-1k a week. So still great money.
Just be prepared to put up with a lot of shit.
Also, we have too many girls working for us. You either need to be a) stunning or b) wait for another girl to quit to get hired. I only got hired cos I posed for Playboy recently, otherwise I would have not got hired.

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
I work Wednesday through to Saturday most weeks an usually get this on average, (though I have a good hustle and a few regulars)
Wenesday - $250-300
Thursday - $350
Friday - $500-600
Saturday - $750-900

Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Hm. Shit. I still make more in private parties. Thanks Cadence.
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
I've considred giving the private parties a go Lysondra, cos they earn real well, though the whole safety thing gets me. Is it really safe to do that in Brisbane?
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
I've been doing it 3 years and the only time I had a problem was when I had a douchebag security that thought it was okay to not tell the rules because he was 'too shy'. :/
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Thanks Cadenceq!
I'm thinking of giving it ago... I've been working at Bad Girls Platinum / Love & Rockets for the last year and doing really well and loved it, till the folks caught me out so I need a change! I'm giving it a few weeks to cool down but. How many girls does Cabaret have on in one night? The two clubs are so different I think from what I've heard :)
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
Yeah, I know what Love&Rockets Platinum is like, is waaaaaay different. If you can't really handle having 100 guys touch you in one night, Cabaret won't be for you. You need a thick skin to work at Cabaret.
I'd suggest stay on at Platinum, and just do 2 nights at Cabaret, if you find you can handle it, quit Platinum and come across, if not, it's not like you'll have lost your place with Love&Rockets.
Also, we have usually 30-35 girls on weekends, around 20 on weekdays. There's loads of girls who've worked at Cabaret for years, and they aren't known for being nice to new girls, so you've got to be able to deal with both the custy's and the other girls, because the girls are nothing like the girls at Platinum.
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
I never let the guys touch me in those $5 dances. Only private ones. So 100 guys were never touching me. Just like... 4?
Advice with girls; just don't pay them any attention.
-
Re: best club to start out in brisbane?
ignoring them works in the most cases, however there's a few particular girls who the new dancers find it a little difficult to ignore, as they are known for getting in new girls faces and telling them if they cross them, it'll be on. The owner usually doesn't care either cos a) the girls doing the threats are loyal to the club and been there for years, thus he cares more about them b) they're also top earners.
The new girls who've escaped this treatment have usually been the quiet, sweet types who don't brag about how much they've made, and who don't act like no-it-all's because it's a little difficult to attack someone who doesn't really talk, an wen they do, are always nice and polite.
