Always trust your gut feeling
It's been discussed on here, and I think I'm finally learning my lesson -- always trust your gut feeling. I involved myself with someone I shouldn't have involved myself with and it only hurt my self-esteem and made me stressed in the end. So, I just wanted to pass on my experience. I freaking knew I had a gut feeling about this guy, but I went against it, and only negative things came out of it.
Do you have this emotion? And do you trust it?
Re: Always trust your gut feeling
Oh yes I have that emotion and I learned the hard way to trust it. There is even a book about the subject called The Gift of Fear. It's more geared towards crime victim prevention but interesting and useful in general on the subject of listening to your gut.

Re: Always trust your gut feeling
i've learned long ago that neither of my heads have nearly as much intelligence as my gut.
but unfortunately for me, my ears are simply closer to my top head and my lower head is one sneaky smooth-talking mother-effer. >_<
Re: Always trust your gut feeling
Yes, yes, yes.
You would nto believe (or maybe you would) how much trouble I have gottn myself into by thinking "They wouldn't really do that" "That can't happen" etc.
I learned my lesson.
Now I trust my gut every time. It never lies to me.
Re: Always trust your gut feeling
This is true, unless you are an unreasonably jealous or OVERLY suspicious person. Then your gut tells you EVERYTHING is fishy....been there, done that, and that ain't much fun either. *sigh*
