I just started at a new club, and when I gave them my info, they had a space for my social security number. I filled it in, but now I'm having second thoughts- why the heck do they need it?!? is that sketch to you, or have you had to do that too?

Most of them have the space on there, but I don't provide it and it's never been an issue. They don't need it since they're not paying us, and I don't want it floating around with all my other info.
I have never put my social security although most applications ask for it.
Same here, i've never given information they don't need & usually just leave it blank they've never questioned it.
All the clubs i have ever worked at have required a ss#, they use it to report my income from funny money.
I had to supply it on my app for the private party company I work for.
Yeah, I usually leave it blank and nobody says anything.
I called about auditioning at a club and they told me to bring in my ID and SS card. I was like the actual card? Is that really necessary? Then the manager gave me shit about how it's required in all California clubs and blah blah blah. It just seemed odd to me since no one has asked for it before.
hmmm...maybe I'll ask them to get rid of it, cos we don't have funny money and I'm not doing private parties. thanks, ladies!;D
