That can't be good.... :-[
there was a guy that came into the club on monday who said he lives in atlanta and the gas stations had no gas. so he booked a flight to tampa since his company had an office here just so he could work...
that is so scary
People get so crazy when there are shortages
I wonder how it will all play out
Yeah, I'm here. It's really self induced. If everyone would stop topping off and fill up in moderation we wouldn't have the problem. I had to wait 45 minutes for gas, and when I got to the pump some people were about to fight some dude that jumped the line. Totally unnecessary. ::)
It also does not help that some people are driving gas huge gas guzzlers that they do not really need. Yet aside from that when I was in florida after Katrina I remember seeing locals going crazy buying gas too. then the people like me who had evacuated from new orleans could not get out of florida.
we keep running out of gas in my area too. But, like francescadubois said, it's self induced... people keep panicking instead of just chilling out and only getting what they need when they need it.
Meanwhile, gas dropped to $3.39 up here in the Great White North. I haven't seen it that low in a long time.
^^Jealous!! ::) :) 4.39 here. Also some of the gas stations are taking advantage. One gas station was chargin $8.83. The governor is gettin' in their asses, though
Ok, so I didn't read the articles linked in, but from the "research" I've done, all they need to do is turn on the pipelines in Texas back on & wa-la. Anyhow, I doubt there's a shortage any time soon... Seeing as how they started drilling in North Dakota & are producing a good bit.
Yep, I started a thread about it a couple days ago. http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=126008
