Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
Real Time With Bill Maher Sept 26th 2008 - Ebony & Irony
"Here are the CEO's of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIP and the Lehmann Brothers... What you have to understand is that these whites are the products of a society that made them that way. It was the neighborhoods and the schools that they went to: Harvard, Yale, The Wharton School of Business. They never learned the value of doing real actual work... So kids growing up White today, don't think the only way out of Westchester is corporate crime."
This is certain to annoy Melonie, bem401 and others. Let me say it for them: "Liberal bias, blah-blah-blah..." ;D
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
;D LOLLERS!!!!!
I miss HBO.
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
Your point is of course true. However, what you neglected to point out is that Harvard, and to a large degree Yale, are up to their necks in professors teaching 'liberal' principles. You also neglect to point out that the CEO's of freddie, fannie, most major financial institutions, and the Sec of the Treasury himself are 'liberals' - either blatant liberal Democrats a la Franklin Raines, or liberal RINO's or Democrats pretending to be 'centrist' like Paulsen.
This isn't liberal bias ... it is liberal fact ! Beyond that, it is liberal fact that mainstream news media goes out of their way to NOT report !!!

I admire your relentless pursuit of personal truths, Melonie... ;D
Please outline how the treacherous liberal agenda hatched within institutions of higher learning was craftily disguised during the Clinton Administration, and then stealthily advanced after Bush took office-- until valiant Republicans could no longer uphold the U.S. economy... ::)
Would it be possible for you to outline the liberal treason without relying on your trademark "(snip)"-s? Somehow, I'd like to arrive at a delineation between your independently formed opinions and your clippings of regurgitated conservative dogma... :-\
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
Yet another example of liberal bias and an attempt by the left to play the race card. I noticed he conveniently left Johnson and Raines out of the photo, but I must be imagining it because no one would ever suspect Bill Maher of being biased.
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
Bem, from now on, just to save time, you can simply post the following:
"ARG!!!!! Liberal Media! Liberal Bias! Race Card! It's the Dems fault! ARRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!"
That will cut down on a lot of writing for you.

There you go again. Resorting to taunting and name-calling when you can't intelligently make a case for your position.
For the record, I do find Maher entertaining on occasion but there is no denying his bias.
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
I don't have to make a case for my position. I don't even have one on this subject. I'm just helping you out Bem, I know your fingers must get tired of typing out conservative bullshit all the time and I want to make sure you have enough energy to teach our precious children.

You seldom do.
Re: Liberal Bias: Ebony & Irony
Examples of this please. Please show me the points I make completely out of hand with no type of source. Please.

you know what Mel, your right, its the schools faults. i mean look at some of the revolutions that occured.
US - Started in liberal Boston (MA),
French started with students who saw what was happening with the Monarch, and 1st Republic.
Tiananmen Square - -liberal protesters, and students.
.......just to name a few
yes the liberal idea is a sham, it only gave you the country that you live in; otherwise I think you should brush up on your Brit. English skills.
