About time he went to jail...he got off once...not twice. Have fun getting ass raped juice!
When's sentencing?
And I also agree he was convicted from the get go, that's karma at it's best for you.
I am SO glad. This asshole got away with murder literally, and has always believed that who he is and his money made him above the justice system. May he finally get what he's deserved for years and years.
I loath him. There are only two people in this world I actually hate, and he's one of them..Dustin Diamond is the other.
Anyway, I hope he rots.
^lmao. What you got against Dustin Diamond?
Ugh, you know how some people just completely rub you the wrong way? His cocky attitude, his faux bravado (that you know he could never back up if it came down to it), and his smarmy asshole-attitude. His claims to fame are that he played Screech (an unlikable, annoying character) and the fact that he starred in some Dirty Sanchez porno.
He's detestable and repulsive.
<Sorry end threadjack>
He's an idiot. :dunce:
I think its totally fate that he was convicted on the anniversary of his acquittal!

Hugs and Hissessss,

lol Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!;D
*shakes head at Kidnapping 15 yr minimum Yeah everyone knew he was gonna be found guilty before the trial even started but damn "guilty" on some of those charges make no sense
Can't wait for the sentencing in December!
Karma is a bitch. He benefited from the court system 13 years ago and got fucked by it here (at least IMO). He's ending up right where he belongs though.
Wow....At the very least, I hope that OJ going to prison will finally bring closure for Ron Goleman's (sp?) family and Nicole Simpson's family.
It depends on what you consider "closure". This verdict should boost book sales and the $$$ value of the movie rights...
"The rights to OJ Simpson's book, , a first-person account of how he would have committed the murders, were awarded to the Goldman family in August 2007. The family was granted the proceeds from the book in 2007 as part of a $33.5 million civil jury award against the ex-football star they have been trying to collect for over a decade. The Goldmans own the copyright, media rights and movie rights. They also acquired Simpson's name, likeness, life story and right of publicity in connection with the book, according to court documents. After renaming the book to If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer, the Goldmans published it in September 2007 through . Within days it became a .
The Goldman family contributed a portion of proceeds from the If I Did It book sale to the newly-founded Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice. The foundation provides grants for multiple organizations and programs that provide resources to victims and survivors of violent crimes."
Let me elaborate, SG...
I simply observed that "closure"--as it's defined therapeutically--will be difficult for the Goldman Family. Given recent developments, the Goldman Family will likely be approached by numerous parties interested in the story and/or movie rights as interest is revived in the case. They will also be continuing their involvement with the Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice.
I've done therapeutic work with grieving families before and (IMO) the verdict represents "catharsis" versus "closure" because the high profile story has not ended. Closure happens when something is completed, when tension is released; it's the point of commitment where a story or journey reaches its end. Catharsis is an emotional process of emptying, cleansing and/or purging. Unlike closure, it doesn't necessarily signal a chapter closing as much as a transformation that enables one to arrive at a peaceful acceptance of things as they are today.
He's finally guilty of something, thank goodness.
If a poor man had been on trial for what OJ was accused of 13 years ago, he would be on death row today if not executed. Somewhere I read that nobody on death row in California had a lawyer that they paid for themselves. They all had public defenders. If that be true, it shows how UNfair our justice system is.
Ass raping usually happens to men who are feminine or have been convicted of cases that harmed children. This information is straight from my 13-page paper "Male Rape In Prison" that I wrote for my college course Human Sexuality and Culture. I got a 97%, marked off for only grammatical errors.
I just REALLY hated the racial tension that the first OJ trial caused. I was only ten but I could feel the tension even then. It's still a sore subject for so many people and really unfortunate. :'(
