How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
If you are a black dancer my question is do you attract white customers mostly?
If so what do you believe the reason is?
Describe yourself physically
If you are of another race and have black women at your club that attract mostly white customers, what do you notice about them that is different then other black girls that may not?
Recently there was a thread on here about which ethnicity banks and overall it was Hispanic.
Before I read that thread it was very hard for me to get dances or anything for that matter from white customers. I would usually talk to them then once they ask "whats your nationality?" and I say black their whole facial expression would change. From there the conversation would be over because he would have a certain place to be or thing to do all of a sudden.
Since I'm African American, Puerto Rican, and Italian mixed I figured why not try something different. So I started approaching customers using my bronx puerto rican accent lol and saying "hola papito". From that point on I usually get at min a cpl dances from that person. It has really worked for me tremendously! I make so much more money now and attract many white men unlike before. Let me add my club is like 80% white customers so its a must for me to attract them I'm not being racist or anything. The only problem is when i start to drink my accent magically disapears lol
ok back on topic...the black girls I know that bank look like black drag queen barbie. I'm not sure how they speak...I'm curious how do the black women (or you) at your club attract white men?

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
i feel you SexyJ- but usually they have a fantasy for that drag queen type thing or just like when Black girls are super dominant (i.e. the neck rolling and sassiness from they're taboo coworkers). I personally can't act like that for too long (hence the screenname) but the sweet-but-we-can-see-how-naughty-i-can-get thing works for me (not with Black guys though, they will try to get over, even the old ones). I'm also somethin' like a pole diva and can move like no other lol, jk..... but i think the thing that works for me is the perceived honesty and wholesomeness, ya know, if it were no neon and buttnakedness, lol
as long as you're a minority , somebody in there will want you- for the fetish, for the lack-thereof but always YOUR beauty, if your in a White club you're in there for a reason babe, we know it's not easy us to get in.... that's what it is Drag Queens always have CONFIDENCE- it just donned on me that the Black women in my club that literally PICK their VIP rooms and only work 1 or 2 days a week walk with their heads high (actually noses in the air, but for the sake of encouragement ... lol) every time you see them. Every good tip i've read in Hustle Hut- if i can get a mental of how to put that into action or how to work it- i usually get a visual of one of them "drags" having did it,lol
Now you've got me ready to get back to FL-

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
The black women bank with the older white guy at my club. The class ones who dress nicely, have nice hair (real/fake) and act classy are typically the ones who do great with the white men.
The black girls at my club who don't exactly scream classy seem to do well with the younger white guys. Just my observations.

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
I'v always attracted white guys, and black guys (in the club) usually won't have anything to do with me.
I speak very articulately, I'm 5'7 about 120-125 I am a 34D(implants) I have long straight black hair almost too my rear, I have an athletic build, and I dance to classic rock, metal, and hard rock. With all my stripper makeup-which is quite dramatic, and my false lashes I guess I might have that "drag queen barbie" look lol

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
You right about the "someone will like you" but I come to find most customers are scared.
example. There was this guy in a group of white guys that I approached when I was just "being myself". I introduced myself and asked his name he said no I dont want a dance. I told him I didnt ask for a dance I wanted to know the name of the guy "I" wanted to pay to dance for me (little hustle hut tip lol). He said get out of here (not in the playful way in the asshole bastard way).
Then about an hour later all of his friends were off somewhere and he asked me if he could get a couple of dances. After our dances I asked what made him get a dance from me. He said I was his fantasy but he just didnt want to look bad infront of his friends by dancing with a black girl.
With that being said I'm sure a lot of guys did like me but just didnt feel comfortable dancing with me in front of their friends or whatever.
I'm very confident and when I'm not I put up a great front lol but the hispanic thing really really works for me...
how do you dress when you work? do your hair? makeup?

Same experience. But I've only worked at 2 clubs in Charlotte, NC. But I didn't see many of the younger white guys going for any of the girls of color. They tended to go for the stereotypical white/blonde stripper solely.
My look when dancing: petite and fit, long curly/wavy weave, "light-skinned", yankee -- my diction was better than most people's in the area no matter what race ;D (JOKE - kind of)

Wow what a jerk!!! Unfortunately, no amount of makeup, certain hairstyle, or type of outfit will change the close minded thinking of assholes like this.

Echo what Rockell said. I have had that happen to me a bunch of times when I worked at a mostly white club. Either they would wait until they were alone, or they would come back another night alone, or not until they were drunk off their ass would they open their wallet and tell me how hot I was. Not everytime, I did manage to get $$ from sober white guys of all ages- but the other situations happened a couple of times each.

What she said! That comes with the job- underneath all that softness, we've gotta be tough
I have yet to dance with hair above my shoulders. I don't super glam it up, but i'm always quite fabulous and well put together if i do say so myself, lol (practicing my Drag).
Music preferences are usually old school r&b, reggae, top 40, anything really

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
i mostly attracted young guys, primarily white. and i was 'perky'. super, super 'perky'. very bouncy, very giddy, sometimes a little nerdy, but always in a flaky way.
certainly once i got a guy in the dance area, i was more sedate, but always after the sell. even on slower shifts, i was still the dancer with energy who wasn't bored, but rather eager to have fun.
in some ways, i found as a black dancer that i had to "draw the room" to me just to pull a percentage of it in closed sales. i would come out to aggro or confrontational stuff for my stage sets, and just get interactive (not in a showing goods way, but in a more aggressive, grabbing money out of hands and flinging it around way-- yes, it worked).
i never had a problem attracting non-black customers for most of my dancing-for-money days. i only had a problem not being able to get 10k out of each one. :-/

+1
From what I've seen its how the girl presents herself and dances - race doesn't seem to be a big factor.

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
I've always attracted white guys because that's mainly what comes into the clubs I've worked at. I rarely ever dance for black guys because most of them have the OJ Simpson mentality (as in a preference for white women) or they're usually broke and say something stupid such as "I don't believe in lap dances" or "Lap dances are for suckers."
I'd like to think that men in general just like hot looking women regardless of her race. But in a lot of cases, white men have a fantasy of being with a black woman.

Re: How do Black Women at your club attract White customers?
In my experience men always want the exotic - if you find you struggle to keep up the acent then use my tip...
Custies would often assume i was Spanish/ Italian/ Hispanic but rather than trying to pull off the accent i would tell them that yes, i was born there but educated at private boarding school (i'm English and very well spoken) which doubly got them going - exotic and posh! (i'm not at all posh, i was raised in a very rough area with no money or privileges, i just happen to speak very well).

:sigh: Fantasy is a loose term, we aren't talking about strippers with unicorn nipples here.
Sidenote: Why are you posting in SG? Was a female burlesque dancer in your past life were you?

I would say yes, for a lot of them it is unrealistic and improbable in their head. A 40 yr old married white man married to his skinny blonde white wife for 20 yrs would probably find it a major turn on to get a dance from a total opposite. He can't pretend he's fucking a black woman at home, it is so far from what he has that it is probably something he's wondered about at some time or another.
If he's not in a lifestyle where he has a lot of contact with black women, they are a fantasy. It's a novelty for him.
Same with a man married to a skinny blonde going to the strip club getting dances from the thick brunette with huge boobs, it's not what he gets at home so it turns him on, he's experimenting with something he's only fantasized about in his head.
Does this clarify the FANTASY aspect of this for you?

I don't have to fantasize about being with a black woman. You may know her, she also dances in NJ.
Aah Burlesque that was the golden age of stripping, true show business. The only hustling was done by the candy butchers.

My friend remembers every dancer, barmaid and manager she ever worked with and she has worked a long:-X time. You know that networking is important in getting work. NJ isn't that big all clubs in North and Central New Jersey are no more then an hour apart and Atlantic City is less then three hours away.
She attracts white and other customers by being able to carry on a conversation. She does wonders with makeup:-* too.
P.S. She is not African American she was born in Africa and has a green card.
