seattle is the land of strippers providing sex for the price of a dance. there are no real options for a low/no contact dancer (you can probably be a clean dancer, they exist here, but not low-contact) in seattle except working at the lusty lady peepshow (and the pay is barely better than the 8$/hr minimum wage).
also, as long as seattle's job market is a bit better than everyone else's, normal jobs here pay decently and employers are generally decent (because there is a slight shortage of available workers). waiters/barstaff are kinda the strippers here, since that's where 200, 300, 500+ a shift is pretty typical earnings, and that's not so true on the stripper-side of things in this town. owing the house is more usual.
if you just cannot do any other work or, well, stay home or something, then it is best to become a travelling dancer to various lower-contact states like montana or commute to portland to work. several local clubs are already in litigation for prostitution and racketeering, and it's just not going to get any better for dancers in terms of earnings or ability to not be arrested for prostitution or in reducing house fees from 150 or so per shift.
