Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
One time, a dancer I saw regularly told me that one of her high roller customers saw me with her and wanted to buy dances for me. She turned him down. I asked her why. She said the guy was drunk and would be mad later.
Fast forward to last weekend. A customer was "making it rain" near me. A few bills landed near my chair so I collected them and handed them to the dancer. The customer turned to the dancer and said I want you to dance for this guy. Remembering my previous experience, I told the dancer no thanks. She ended up dancing for another guy.
I caught up with the dancer later. She thought I had blown her off. I told her I refused the free dance because I don't want total strangers buying me dances. She said yeah he likes to flash his cash.
Here are my questions...for dancers, have you accepted payment for dances from a customer for a total stranger? And for guys, have you accepted dances purchased by a total stranger? Have you paid for dances for a total stranger? By total stranger, I don't mean a guy you randomly bonded with over drinks...I mean you haven't spoken to the guy ever.
Was I too cautious? I was kicking myself later cause she was a pretty girl but we did end up bonding sort of at the end of the night.

umm...who are you to turn down another customer buying dances for you? seriously, that's what you're there to do, buy dances and enjoy them! just be sure to say thanks to the guy who was nice enough to buy them for you.
i have had customers buy dances for other customers and the ones i've danced for have returned the favor, quite a bit of the time. i just always tell the guy i'm about to dance for to be sure to say thank you to the buyer.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I think you did the right thing. No need to insert yourself into any regular-ATF drunken drama.
And with the guy making it rain, no telling when those kinds of guys will decide to pop a cap in your ass.
I woulda done the same thing in both situations.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
Gawwwwwwwd, I hate assholes like this who have to get other customers involved in their shit.
Never had this happen but I have seen more than a few idiots wait until their fave is on stage, go up to every guy on pervert row, and put a dollar in front of them, so they can make their girl feel good, or themselves like a big shot.
Thanks, but no thanks. I have my own money.

Uh, no. NO!
Everyman and doc said it. There is no way I am having some stranger buy me a dance.
Yes, if I was a chick, it'd be cool having a strange man spending his money on me; but as a guy it would be creapy.

lmaooo..huh what?
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
To answer your question yes i've done both. I've been getting dances before and the guy next to me would see the stripper doing such a good job and me enjoying it so much that he would be like damnn i'll pay for another one for him and then when she danced for him i'd do the same. If i see a woman that truly likes women getting a dance and has that hypnotized look in her eyes i always buy her another dance or two (most of the time they'll let you join them);D ;D

Whenever I hear about "making it rain", it's usually in a newspaper story about a strip club parking lot shooting later that night.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I have always said yes to people buying dances for others. Money is money.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I used to accept guys buying dances for me, but too many of them seemed to think that the dances they bought me entitled them to very up-close views of the dances - I'm talking VERY close, like almost in my lap. Talk about uncomfortable for both me & the dancer(s).
Nowadays I usually politely decline such offers.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I often see friends or associates buying dances for each other, and that's great, everyone has fun. However what happened with you was a bit weird. I know I once had a man try and offer me the price of a lapdance to go up to a female customer (she was with male friends) and tell her that I thought she was so hot and sexy that I just had to give her a lapdance for free. I refused because it was obvious he was either trying to cause some drama (by having her get angry) or he was trying to humiliate her by making her feel intimidated at the club.

I'm curious....how was it obvious? Was the female custie not a very attractive lady?
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
Yeah, he was whispering and laughing with his friends, pointing at her (because she looked really uncomfortable, like she coulddn't wait to leave), and then he waved me over and was laughing when he said "give her dance". Not to mention the fact that he was insisting that I pretend I was giving it too her for free because I "really liked her".

That's what I thought. What a fucking asshole.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I've always felt my wallet was more open when I felt comfortable with my surroundings. People I don't know trying to dictate my experience don't make me feel comfortable.
And if someone I didn't know wanted to buy me a dance, perhaps they mean well by the gesture. What they fail to understand is, I'm not just sitting there randomly looking at the entertainers in awe. I may very well be scouting for potential candidates to spend my own money on, and that sometimes getting them to come over can be a delicate timing issue.
Sending a dancer over to me won't cost me any money, but it could very well screw up this timing, and my desired gal(s), seeing another at my table at the exact wrong moment and thinking that I'm taken, end up someplace else. In a busy club, you may not get another opportunity.
Re: Accepting dances purchased by total strangers
I've had anonymous guys grab me and pay to dance for someone, a lot of the time is for someone disabled. While doing the dance the disabled guy sometimes was addled that people felt sorry for him and bought him dances. Some enjoyed the dance but others kind of politely suffered through it.
In the past when I've gone to SC as a customer random guys would buy me dances. I would accept but then they usually wanted to try to talk to me and me being a dancer (even if not on the clock) would get irritated at entertaining a SC customer for free. Not to mention I know I'm distracting the guys from paying attention to the girls that are there to work.
I've also had anonymous older men buy dancers and even send me to VIP (3/$100) for younger Military guys on leave, which I thought was nice. They enjoyed it and I did too
