It's pretty good. They do hire out of town dancers, just call ahead. Good luck
I went to audition and the lady manager that was there at the time wouldn't even look at me cause I have tattoos. I never got to even walk around the inside of the club, only a quick peek around the corner and I noticed the stage setup was kinda weird. No pole, runway sort of thing and the ceiling looked really low, like if you're tall then you'd bump your head.
I've mentioned the tattoo thing to a couple other dancers and they have said that it's bullshit, that the manager was putting me on, cause there are girls there with tattoos.... I don't know why a manger would do such a thing, unless she just didn't like me for some reason....which I still don't know the whole truth. I haven't had a chance or enough cash to check out the place as a customer.
I happened to be with someone out of town when I went to audition, they wanted to hire her but wanted to put her on a schedule?! She tried to explain that she was only in town for a few days but they weren't very cooperative.
Other than that I've heard the place is really cool, I mean always worth a shot trying a new club anyway......
And yeah definitely call ahead and get a specific time that they would like you to show up. Don't be late!
I worked there a few years ago when I was still a newbie dancer. It was very easy to make money there and there were plenty of customers. I worked there as a travelling black dancer from California and had little trouble being hired. I had to have the approval from the female manager but never actually met her so I suppose another manager gave her the thumbs-up looks-wise and I was able to work night shift or day as much as I wanted.
I would have made more money than I did, which was already better than my California club, if I had been a bit more aggressive. Didn't make any friends there although the dancers were nice enough and low drama. It is still the best club I've worked in ( so far )outside of Los Angeles.
Good luck!
