Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
I tried a search on the Ped Egg but came up empty handed.
I've heard really good things from a few people, so I decided to give it a shot. It's fantastic! I've always had really hard feet (was a lifeguard for 4 years before dancing) and I've always been the type to walk around with no shoes on. The egg is like a file, and it literally shaves away dead skin, and any calluses your feet might have. I put a little coconut oil on afterward, and then some socks and after only three tries, my feet are feeling a lot smoother and softer. I definitely recommend it for those of you who are trying to pinch pennies on pedis.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
i got one in my stocking and LOOOOVE IT! it's amazing! works like a charm!
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
My sister and her mother love that thing. I wanna get one.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
i love it too. Im pretty critical of products so ill just say it definitely smooths the feet for sure.
After a while of use it can really make the rough stuff go away, but it def. immediately smooths rough heels feet.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
Yay! I wanted to get one of these and now I know it works!
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
lol - I got one in my stocking this year too LOL! It does work and is better for those that are too squeamish to use the blade thingie (took me a lifetime to build up THAT courage). It is slower than the blades, but safer and such. Good product - even if it does remind me of a cheeze grater. (erg!)

my feet were gross, i use a pumice stone now and they're fine. is this for like super super severely bad feet?

I find that a pumice stone has a rougher finish than the ped egg. Its a "fine" shaving that you get w/ the ped egg.i have super hard heels, but i think it would make softer feet even softer.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
Got one about 6 months ago, and love it
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
Really good product,I use it outside so it doesn't make a mess but you can lay out a towel for the "shavings"as well, it's totally effective!
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
A foot fetishist customer of mine cannot shut up about the Ped Egg. And he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to feet, so that's a pretty high endorsement.
I still haven't bought one myself yet.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
Does it use batteries? I'm tempted but ehh I don't want 2 of them...
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
^^No batteries.
You manually move the ped egg back and forth over the feet. its like a lil shaver/cheese grater in a plastic egg shape that fits in the hand.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
Hell yeah! I <3 my ped egg...I use it all the time.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
thanks cadence, that's awesome. is there anything else, like the little filing pad, that has to be replaced ever?

It comes with one replacement filing pad that sticks on to the egg. I'm sure you can find those elsewhere. They're pretty easy to find in the drug store or beauty supply stores. It's just like a large file or sandpaper- usually they come on a stick. As for the egg, it's not a "filing pad" perse, but an actual file- someone above me compared it to a mini cheese grater, and that's basically what it is.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
thanks for the recommendation! i was contemplating this but thought it looked a bit gimmicky. Glad to hear otherwise from trustworthy sources! The bit on the commercial where they toss out the "feet shavings" does make my tummy turn a bit...ewwww.
;)

Yeeaaah, it is a bit gross. It's like a powder. Nasty.
Re: Ped Egg...anyone tried it?
I used to get pedi every two weeks because my feet are so dry and i have the callous on the ball of my foot from 7in stilettos but the ped egg has cut out that expense for me...lol...omg i sound like a damn commercial. It works great to me. I also was too afraid of the blade thingie...
