Dance Clothes Organization...
Hello Ladies...
Just curious, how do you store your work clothing? Most of our outfits come in 2 or more pieces. I guess I'm just so unorganized because I always end up with misplaced pieces.
I've tried a few things, outfits in ziplock bags, storing some then using some and reverse, BUT some how it just doesn't go well. The ziplock bags didn't let the clothes breathe so I didn't like too well.
So, as of right now... Everything is just in one big storage bin and I have to scrummage through it all to just get ONE outfit . Wow! Is it messy...
Any suggestions?
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
I just keep my dance stuff in a suitcase with my summer clothes. For work, I put them in a plastic bag together, sets folded together, then separate bras, bottoms, etc, sorted and folded together. They all end up jumbled together anyway.
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
I just use ziploc bags. If something's been used, it doesn't go back in a ziploc until it's been washed, and then it goes in the bag with a nice-smelling dryer sheet. It's great motivation to keep up with my work laundry, because I can't stand how disorganized my work bag gets after a couple of days of work in different outfits.
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
^^^ Agreed. Although I use shower curtain rings to organize things like my g-strings, thongs, and garters.
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
Ziploc baggies- gallon sized after everything has been washed and sprayed with Febreze. For g strings and garters I wrap a garter around all of them- makes it easy to take out whatever color I need.

Every time I look at the title of this thread, it makes me think it's a place for us to donate our old clothes to wayward strippers or something ;D
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
MeowMixxx!!! That is too funny... I read it over too and realized what I wrote could me that too!!! Ha!
I once was shopping at a Salvation Army and I actually ran across a old, beaten up pair of stripper shoes. Then I continued looking around and actually found a few gowns and outfits. The gowns were in the lingere and bathrobe section and the outfits were in the swim suit section. I just couldn't believe a stripper would donate to the salvation army. I didn't buy anything cause the stuff wouldn't be something I'd wear anyway but I always wondered who did buy all that stuff.

Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
if you cut the corner off of a ziploc bag, it allows moisture to get out and allows air to travel, preventing super funk. just a useful tip.
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
I have my tops in one drawer and bottoms in another
Re: Dance Clothes Organization...
Gallon ziploc bags and a dryer sheet all the way!
