Good books about escorting with info on screening..
Have any of you read any informative books written by women who've been in the sex industry?
I've heard of Dolores French and came upon a few other names: Kay Good, Jeannette Angell, JD Roberts, Anonymous, Veronica Monet, Amanda Brooks, Norma Jean Alamdovar, Magdalene Meretix, Natalie McLennon.
I haven't bought any yet, but I will depending on what any of you know.

There's a book called "Sugardaddy 101" by Leidra Lawson - it's kind of superficial but tells you the basic ins and outs of escorting. I suggest in regards to "screening" that you check out some of the more professional escort ads on eros.com and take note of the info the request from potential "clients" - generally that's the info you need in order to check out your "Johns".
Re: Good books about escorting with info on screening..
Hey there,
I was interested in this for awhile as well, and although I never got into the business, the most informative books that I found were called....
"The Business Side of Escorting"
and "The Business Side of Escorting II"
They're both pretty similar, I think that the 2nd one just has more information, but on Amazon they are described differently.
Get it, they're the best they have out there. And I searched high and low.
Re: Good books about escorting with info on screening..
I'm pretty impressed with Amanda Brooks' books...but those are the only ones I've read, so I can't compare. BUT the information about screening is supposed to be in her third book, which isn't out yet.
Re: Good books about escorting with info on screening..
I have read both of the books "The Business Side of Escorting" and "The Business Side of Escorting II" by JD Roberts mentioned above and also Amanda Brooks first book also mentioned above.
First, buy the second "Business Side of Escorting" book and not the first. The second book is basically an expanded version of the first book with much more information in it. The first couple of chapters try to help you decide if escorting is truely for you. The author goes into depth in one or two chapters on what the escort needs to do to keep herself safe which I found very interesting, e.g., how to screen for bad clients, law enforcement, etc. Other subjects covered include the escort's decision to pay taxes or not, laws an escort must deal with, websites for escorts and on and on. IMHO, the book will either scare you out of the idea of escorting or make you smarter than 90 percent of the escorts working out there.
The first two Amanda Brooks books are good, but not as complete as the Roberts books plus the Brook's books are about $5 more expensive.
In any event I would suggest you go to Amazon.com, do a search on both titles and read the reviews for each. It used to be Amazon also gave you the ability to read sections of the Robert's books. I don't know if this is still the case or not.
Hope this helps.

Screening can be done on the web via a variety of websites with someone's DL # name and birthdate. Or if you know a good PI, he can usually run one in a few hours as well.
I am not sure what a guy is willing to give as far as info though.

The ones that are heavily into the hobby are sex addicts and will give their entire life history.

Yes, check out Leidra Lawson's (hopefully I spelled her name right) SugarDaddy 101
Re: Good books about escorting with info on screening..
After buying them myself I highly highly recommend Amanda Brooks - The Internet Escorts Handbook. book 1 and 2
and also Kay Good, In Good Company The Escort's guide.
I give a serious warning for www.becomeanescort.com this lady is a serious scam artist.

Re: Good books about escorting with info on screening..
Amanda Brooks said she posted something on her website about screening. She does answer her emails. If you browse some escort websites. you can find their booking page to give you an idea of they ask for in screening.
For me when screen my clients. I ask them to call from an unblocked number I do not answer private or restricted call. I call them back to confirm or send them a text message. I do not give my location to them until they confirm. I get a name and contact telephone I keep note of it in my google calendar.
Also if you have a website and you have contact form on it, and if any of the fields are not filled in , you can use that to say you will not see the client, and also emails that are not longer then one word or one sentence. and I do not discuss sexual activities on the phone.
Even though in Canada escorting has some legal loops wholes I try and keep my phone conversations about time and cost for time.
