Hit like a ton of bricks... thanks ladies!!!
Okay, so I had been feeling pretty down about my body in the last 6 months or so. I am a retired dancer, and for a long while I kept in good shape... but of course life started interfering and I went on the pill. Gradually I started gaining some weight and developing (is that the right word?) cellulite, which had never been a problem for me. So, in the last few months I have with the help of tips on this site, been getting myself back into shape: getting my eating habits at least somewhat back on track, exercising, taking tonalin and trying out the 'dry brushing' technique to deal with the cellulite.
I kid you not, right up until yesterday I was still feeling blah about my body. I wasn't really seeing the results- I don't lose or gain weight dramatically so maybe it was hard to tell, but MAN, today I dug out my swimsuits to decide on what to ditch... and... DAMN! All of a sudden I'm looking in the mirror and happier about my body than I think I've ever been. I finally saw the work I'd been doing. It was a shock.
I just had to share the happy and thank everyone for your amazing tips and advice... this site has been an amazing resource for information and seeing how supportive people are.

I am in the process of trying the tonalin, all the tips, and I'm so glad you found sucess in the tips. Stripperweb where you learn about maca root for your ass, monistat for hair growth, garlic for yeast infections, dry brushing your body, and rubbing your "juices" on your wrist and neck for phermones... lol LOTS of crazy tips...

I'm kinda scared to take Tonalin. Is it like a diet pill? One cup of coffee and I shake so badly I can't dance, so stimulants are a no-no for me.

Tonalin is indeed marketed as a diet pill. But it doesn't actually make you lose weight. It's just conjugated linoleic acid, derived from safflower oil, and I believe there are concerns over the effects in people who are already obese but nothing has been proven.

I think a lot of commercial diet pills contain green tea extract or some other form of caffeine but tonalin- at least the brand I'm using- does not.
