Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
Ok... this isn't a good sign.
No one has any experience to comment on at Seamless?

Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
Reno? But, but... that's like 7 hours away! :(
If you put in a nay for Seamless, then I may have to discount your vote.
:P
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
I visited Seamless shortly after it opened, after a dancer friend of mine in LA told me about it.
Whether or not you will like Seamless depends upon what you want in a strip club. If you're a "Genwar" type of clubber (meaning you are there for the party, the drinks, the camaraderie, not so much the actual lap experience), then Seamless may be a good bet for ya. After hours, they close down the main stage, put a lot more tables, couches and chairs in the place and have a dance floor. Very heavy techno songs with go-go dancers by the main bar, and the main bar is what is emphasized in this place. Lots of "off duty" dancers clearly hang out here, and laps can still be had in the VIP room, but they are tame at best (minimal one-way contact).
OTOH, if you are closer to a "CP" style experience (like at Spearmint Rhino), then you'll probably be bored to tears, but at least enjoy the window dressing.
I'm pretty sure there's a review of Seamless I wrote shortly after visiting it, but I'm too lazy to check the search function. Hope this helped a little.

I haven't been in a couple of years and since I was ATFed up it's appeal as a SC wasn't important, but I liked it when it transitioned into the nightclub. Staff gets kinda pushy with the junkies hanging out as they want to free up couch space for potential bottle service groups, but otherwise it's at least something different.
Since you've only got 48 hours, I wouldn't make a visit a top priority. However, if it's late and you've tired of the Rhino hustle, it may be worth a peek.
One more caveat: Cab kickbacks are out of control. Call the Rhino or Sapphire and get limo pickup. It'll save you the cover ($50 at Sapphire). Doubt Seamless will pick you up but you could try.
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
CP (been awhile!) and DE, thanks for the info.
CP - From the sounds of it, I'm closer to a "CP" style than a "GenWar" style. I don't frequent SC's to often; therefore when I do go, I want a friggin' good lapdance dammit!! lol
Ok, I think I'll probably pass on Seamless for this short trip... maybe another time, unless someone can convince me otherwise.

It'd be worth it. ;)
I did not vote as I have never been to a SC in Vegas. :)
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
I worked at Seamless for awhile, about six months. After Xmas, the money dried up and now they don't really have many pretty girls anymore. Even on a Fri and Sat night, it's pretty dead. I went there with my hustle buddy a few weeks ago, on a Thursday, and I think there were 20 customers all night. Shame, it's a beautiful club, but they aren't paying kick backs so they don't get any business.
I'm at Rhino now, and much happier; and yes, they will pick you up in a limo, and give you free admission for using the limo service. They don't drive you home, however.

I don't know - we may stumble in early in the morning. Who knows. Based on the few descriptions I read, it appeared to be an interesting concept... at least on the surface.
You're at SR? Hey! You should look for me Memorial weekend. Friday night I'll be there with my buddy. Look for the guy in the corner with a braided mullet, an eye patch and neon-yellow running shorts (no underwear). That's me.

I was supposed to go to Vegas June 2nd with some friends (not to dance) but at this point I don't think it's going to happen. :(

Nope. :( Husbands birthday is Sunday - party on Saturday! But I did get a specialty cake made with screened on photos of him when he was a little boy. Was a PITA but I did it. I am a good wifey.
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
Ahhhh well. Coincidentally, my financee made me one of those photocakes for my 30th this year. She made sure to let me know what a PITA it was....lol :)

haha... that reminds me.. twice I've done the 7 am walk from SR to Mirage. walking over 9 miles while broke and drunk with the sun coming up over the horizon.
I probably should feel somewhat ashamed, but for some reason those two memories always make me laugh and bring a smile to face. :)

LOL! I did the Sapphire to Mirage walk a couple of years ago. No cabs at 8am. Early july, was about 90 degrees with the added bonus of the special dehydration that comes from all night drinking.
I've never had trouble at OG with limos back to my hotel even as far as Mandalay Bay. Usually the driver will give you his number and tell you to call him when you're ready.
I hope you post the highlights of your weekend. I'll be there the following weekend for a WSOP tourney and since the ATF moved back to her homestate, I am ready for some new scenery.

Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
sorry... I have two more days until I leave and I'm just a bit overexcited
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
I love that place just because with a little work you can go cheap on the food and drink or so over the top people back home will have a hard time believing the stories.
Any chance you'll be doing Sunday Rehab at the Hard Rock or checking out the Sapphire Pool (affiliated with the SC) at the Rio?
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
^^^ Unfortunately for me I'll be leaving Sunday morning. Although, we may make an appearance at the Sapphire pool on Saturday

Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
Will you be showing your Cavs your devotion with a wager? The sportsbook at the Palazzo used to be Jay-Z's 40/40 club. Not your typical sportsbook and rumor is they're going to convert it into another club soon. I still prefer the Mirage 'book, and Mandalay Bay's is pretty decent, too.
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
^^ I will be must definitely betting on the cavs tomorrow. Not sure where, but money will be won (hopefully)
Re: Seamless - yay or nay?
Good Luck to you and the Cavs! Don't break all the casinos. Leave a little for me. ;D
