tell me something about you nobody knows
Do you think this is a good conversation starter?
(for after introductions, or at the start of a dance)
I'm always looking for ways to avoid dancing so much and just get them talking, as opposed to ME having to answer a barrage of questions about what I do and where I'm from. I really get sick of telling my life story or making up a fake one too, I'd rather just nod my head and pretend to be interested as much as possible.
So maybe "Tell me something I wouldn't know by looking at you"
How would you say it so avoid sounding like you ask that question to everyone just to figure them out or put them in a box. I hate that more than anything so I don't want to become that! Nothing drives me up a wall more than when someone asks me a complicated question (What are you? WHat do you do for fun? Where are you from?) and they ask it as if they really could care less and they ask every chick they meet that just to get them talking....
I'm aware that guys think we LOVE to talk about ourselves and thats the best way to please us, but as dancers we get a little talked out so I'm just trying to flip the tables ya know?
Re: tell me something about you nobody knows
The second question is better because they don't feel like they need to divulge something that is a personal secret to a stranger.
Why on earth would you want to dance less? If there is money to be made from dancing I would think you'd want to be making it!
Re: tell me something about you nobody knows
What I mean by dancing less is that I run out of moves and get a little winded by the 3rd or fourth song...now if we were just talking? 10 songs could fly by in a heartbeat ya catch my drift? I wouldn't ask this question if we weren't already on the clock, lol, I know what my time is worth...
Re: tell me something about you nobody knows
Yeah I prefer the second one too. As a private person the first would make me instantly not like you. Also may open you up to more info than you really wanted with some people.
Whenever I need a break I sit on their lap and stroke their neck and/or head. I only do this if they've bought a few and most likely will buy more. It gets me a break and makes them feel they are quite special. I rarely talk just sit and makes eyes at them. Most guys just sit back and close their eyes. If I really don't want to talk and they start I just very softly put my finger over their lips.
After a song or two of that 98% of the time I can get VIP outta them.

Wash, rinse, dry, & repeat.
As for getting winded, I have that same issue and always keep water with me - which really helps.

:) Guys on the floor who ask for multiple dances and not VIP will NOT pay for just chatting. Best best is to VIP them or just keep on dancing.

i think what she means is they are already in vip, and she's looking for a way to make the hour go faster.

In that case, just use a lot of open ended questions like "What do you do in your spare time?" If they're passionate about a particular hobby, they will talk incessantly about it. Mix it up with some dirty talk and dances.
