Does this name soud good?
Hey guys i have never danced before or for that matter ever even been to a strip club but it really intrigues me and i wanna give it a whirl but i didnt know if my stage name that im thinking about using was good what do u guys think about the name "natalina rouge"
Re: Does this name soud good?
it sounds good, but most strippers only have a single name
Re: Does this name soud good?
I agree--unless you're featuring, I'd stick to a single name. Natalina is pretty, but it may be too complicated (for both when the DJ's announce you and when you introduce yourself on the club's loud floor). Maybe something slightly shorter that rolls off of the tongue? Natalia? Just my two cents. :)
Re: Does this name soud good?
I think it's an awesome name - very fun and unique. You might want to go by Lina as a nick name with customers.
As for the last name, don't let people dissuade you. It's good to create a full identity in case you do decide to go into featuring or modeling. Most dancers do end up at least doing some modeling and you want to make sure people can find and distinguish you from others with the same first name. There used to be a few registries online because having the same stage names was such a problem, but I don't see those as much anymore. So the more unique of a combination the better!
Just be sure that once you pick a name that you stick with it. That will make it easier for your regulars to find you if you happen to switch clubs. There's guys on the blue side of this site and also on TUSCL.com that will sometimes post that they are looking for a certain entertainer, and every once in awhile someone actually knows what the new club is that she's working at. So in other words building your stage name can be like building your personal branding.
Re: Does this name soud good?
cool thanxx for answering my question guys :)
Re: Does this name soud good?
I think it's going to be hard to get guys to understand it. I'm Hadley and always get called Happily. Eh, whatever... I stopped correcting them and when they DO get it right I congratulate them.
Re: Does this name soud good?
it's very pretty, but i agree with using lina as a nick name... only with regulars though!
Re: Does this name soud good?
I think you should consider dancing by Lina at the club. It's a beleivable name, use the other one like Kyleah said if you ever want to do any modeling or feature dancing.
Re: Does this name soud good?
Pick something that sounds like it could be a real name, it helps to build rapport and close sales. When you pick something that is completely fake (like Avalon) you inevitably get asked "so whats your real name" to which you then have to work harder to get them to trust you. People spend money on people they trust.
I did a youtube video on this a while ago.
