Re: Dancing in san francisco
also i'm 19 and wondering which clubs won't hire under 21...
Re: Dancing in san francisco
The Gold Club used to be the best club in town and would only hire 21+. I heard that has changed though.
Unless things have changed a lot I would stay away from New Century.... lots of extras girls there.
If Gold Club doesn't work out call Deja Vu Centerfolds and find out when the auditions are. They can place you at a variety of clubs for girls under 21 since they own pretty much everything up and down Broadway and manage for Hustler.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Gold Club is great- good money, upscale, totally clean- but they want most new girls to start on this strange schedule where you work all weekend, and only the weekend. So you'll work either Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon. It can be anywhere from $500 a night and up depending on your hustle.
Other than that, I wouldn't recommend any other clubs in SF! I've heard that the Kit Kat is good- but it's down south of Palo Alto, like an hour south of SF.

How long does this bullshit go on? Is it just for your first week, or are you stuck with that schedule indefinitely?

I think for me it was my first month.

There's plenty of other great clubs in San Francisco... but from what I've heard Gold Club was always the best.

Which others would you recommend? I've only ever worked at Hustler.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
How do these clubs rate as in things required for hiring? I have no problem handing over my drivers license etc but I get real hesitant when it comes to things like my SSN. I heard the Deja Vu clubs take all your SSN information and issue you with tax papers etc? :-\
Re: Dancing in san francisco
yup... they take your SSN. at least Larry Flynt's does. They give you a receipt at the end of the night for how much you earned after they take their cut, I dont know if they report it to the IRS or not, but even if they did I'm not in trouble because I didn't make over 13,000 (or whatever the amount is) that you're supposed to claim.

You could try Centerfolds, Garden of Eden (easy to sell dances but no VIP) or Broadway Showgirls (it used to be Boys Toys).
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Oh, I worked at Boys Toys! I thought it was gone... that was a good upscale club too. At least it was back in 2001 or whenever I worked there. I'd try Showgirls if it's the same kind of place. Boys Toys was super nice- waitstaff in tuxedos and a great restaurant. I'm a sucker for luxury at work ;)
Re: Dancing in san francisco
what clubs are good for traveling girls?
i want to go up there for a bit in a couple weeks, i have friend who dances there but she goes back and forth from la to sf and i dont know if she's going to go soon. are there any decent instant hire clubs?
Re: Dancing in san francisco
SF is notoriously un-traveler friendly. You'll have to lie and provide a SF address.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
^^^ +1
That is very true. Most of the clubs don't welcome travelers. If they do, they normally have a rule that you have to work at least 7 days out of the month.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Well I was planning on going for about a month, a minimum being 2 weeks.
I'm just so sick of dancing in LA and I'm not really comfortable, nor do I have the funds, to travel farther than SF alone to dance. I also love SF and always hear girls do better there.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Audrey : Just make sure to lie and say you moved to SF and you'll be fine. You can work for a couple weeks and then just " move " back. SF is so weird.
You probably already know this .... but it can be better to fly in and stay in the city to work. You don't really want a car here ( parking will be really expensive and cars are a hassle ).
Re: Dancing in san francisco
I was wondering if anyone has any tips about getting hired in SF or a good club to try? I live in Burlingame right now, but San Jose during the school year and am going to try to work a couple weekends from now with my friend when she comes and visits me (we have only worked in Washington DC at a nude, stage dancing club - no lapdances).
I have been reading the forums and it seems hard to get hired for just a weekend there. (I want to work a regular schedule if I like it though, but she would just be for a weekend). Any help would be great! Thanks ladies :)
Re: Dancing in san francisco
so this may seem a little off topic, but im looking at moving to berkeley and i was curious. are the clubs in sf pretty tatoo friendly?? ive danced all over the world and the only places ive had issues was in melbourne australia and just one club in vegas. both were kindov snooty places.
ive also heard its super competitive there ect. i want to dance to get on my feet there and i consider myself a pretty damn good hustler but i hate to do it(who doesnt?)
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Well I just got hired for dayshift at hustler. Im auditioning at Gold Club tomorrow but they too said it would have to be days only for now grrrr. lol Tell me if any of you ladies get hired for nights thanks
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Please do let me know what happens in regards to this! I just moved to the bay area from Texas and am looking at dancing at the Gold Club. I know this is a little rude so you don't have to answer but what kind of money can be made on dayshift at hustler?

Take the day shift. Most SF clubs will do that at first. After a week or so, start asking if you can stay over into the evening, til midnight or so. Once you should them you're a good girl and are an asset to the club, they will likely move you.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
Well I started yesterday at hustler it was pretty slow but I walked with 120 so I'd say not bad for 1st shift n day shift @that. U can tell some girls r banking! Wish me luck. Ne1 else joining [email protected]? I think they need day girls they hired 4 more after me already!

What do they do about girls who are in school during the day? /:O I've only ever worked at Hustler, and it wasn't a problem. I just told them I couldn't do days cos of school (and offered to print out my class schedule so they'd know I wasn't lying, lol).
But this was 2 years ago and policies/people may have changed since then, and I don't know how any of the other clubs work with students.
Re: Dancing in san francisco
do hustler and gold club only hire girls21+? thanks!
