Do you call or text/email regulars to make appointments at the club? I read that some girls do, but I never heard about it before, or thought about it. Sounds good, wonder how well that would work?

that sounds great!
My general system:
Anyone who spends $100 or more- goes on the email list
From the email list I add to my social networking sites (Myspace, Facebook, Twitter)
If they are receptive to email and come back in OR if they spend more than $500 the first meeting they make it to my SMS Text list.
I send text messages once a week to 10 days to this list. Some like the friendly conversation, others just ignore it and I get random texts back when they land in Phx or Vegas to see if I'm there.
I haven't given out my number in a long time. I used to, there was a girl on here who found a site for free fake numbers that would go straight to a voicemail, and guys would leave me messages. I liked it, but the site closed. I've been considering getting a prepaid phone for this purpose though, it's nice to have someone to call on a slow night.
None of my customers have phone contact with me. Basically if they are interested in getting information on special deals then they have to memorize how to spell my name, google me and contact me through one of the social networks. I usually will post on there when I am working.
Yes. For customers who will spend $500+ in a night. But make sure not to text them the same nights, so they don't get jealous of each other. I wouldn't call it an "appointment" though. Just send a txt, "hey babe! I miss you! Haven't caught up in a while and I'm working tonight. If you're free come say hi".
hmm, ive been thinking of doing this... but i have a bf and i think i would feel kinda weird... like maybe I don't wanna bring the club "home" with me, you know? Phone seems too personal.
Though I did create a myspace page for my stripper persona, with my schedule and a couple pics and a list of my "interests" all that. Even though they can potentially allow you to reveal lots of your personality there's something about social networking sites that seems "safer" to me than someone having my personal phone number, or having to worry that I'll text a guy and his wife will look at his phone and see it.
I wonder if giving out a myspace link would be better? I haven't tried it yet. I think it would be an easy way to field the questions "can I have your #?" or "will you call me?", a dancer could just say "oh, I'm terrible about answering my phone, here lemme give you my myspace link instead you can totally friend me that way! My schedule is on there and I've got some pics you can check out too, and you can message me whenever you'd like!"
All I have to say is to please be careful when giving out information to custies about how to contact you OTC. There are a lot of crazy ppl out there, and just bc a guy seems cool you still never know what will happen if you give him an open line into your life.
That said, if you're hell bent on giving out info to custies have an email that's not used for anything else or a pay as you go phone so you can make yourself a little less easy to track.
Agree with JayATee -- having a separate email is sooo easy and fairly untraceable.
Ya, I cant give out my number because I have a boyfriend.
How is giving out your number inappropriate but taking your clothes off for them not? It's as much of a business transaction as selling a lap dance.
I don't give out my number but I take guys numbers and call them on slow nights. I'll tell them I really want to see them and blah blah. If they start talking about seeing me OTC I tell them I can't, a bunch of girls just got fired at the club and my manager is making me work the next few nights, or that I can't afford to take the night off work.
I would feel kinda fishy too if he was taking womens numbers... but we are thinking of getting a business line cell phone.. just prepaid
I had a whole system when I was full time dancing..
I had two phones. Once prepaid cheap phone and my real phone.
NONE of my customers og the real phone they all got the prepaid phone.
I would send text messages when I was working. They would call me and I would hardly ever answer unless they were one of the top 5 customers. I had a dancer email address in the form of [email protected] etc.. Most custies rather text or send emails due to marriage girlfriends or their jobs. Also I had an email list of all my customers and I would send weekly emails with the nights I was working. That actually did wonders. Out of like 50 guys about 25 would answer and tell me they would stop in. Out of that 25, 15 would show up so I was golden!
thats cool
I keep in contact with regulars but I don't give them my number outright. If they are respectful, build rapport, spend money and aren't freaks I unblock my number when I call them.
They also need to be the type of custy that likes strippers and doesn't expect a free date. I've never done a private show but if they offer privates and never a lunch date then they are willing to spend money. It's a numbers game and they are hoping one day someone will take him up on the offer.
Since I've never met any of my regulars OTC I wouldn't consider swapping numbers as outside business. You need to keep in contact with customers no matter what type of business you run.
In our business you just have to be careful and picky who you exchange numbers with.
Make appointments when you can!
Set clear boundaries with regulars. No freaks! It's not worth it even if they spend money.
Sounds like a GREAT idea to me. Though, the good thing about it would be showing the customer that your time is precious. The bad thing about it may be "pressuring" the customer to be somewhere on time - something that he might be trying to escape in his "regular" life.
I would totally do it if I actually had people to do it with!! Soon :D
I do not. I have a work email that I have used with two respectful customers, so they could tell me when they were coming back into town. It didn't work that well (they would tell me THE DAY they were getting in or some shit) so I haven't used it since.
I only have 1 customer that has my number and I text on the regular. I don't push him or ask him to come in only because I don't want him to feel like I 'need' him because I honestly don't. But when he does come in (weekly) and text me to tell me that he's on his way. He tips 100 dollar bills for our 1 song 20 dollar table dances. I never have to give him raunchy table dances and we never go into the VIP because he's normally there for my company.
I don't normally have too many regulars or try not to develop them because they eventually get too needy and I hate that. I love banking off strangers that I'll never see or see once in a while.
Prepaid phone with none of your personal info on it.. that's the way to go.. That way you can give it freely for guys who spend good money. They can call if they are considering coming in and you can be sure to be there. Also, they feel special and you stay safe.
I got a prepaid Virgin phone that I registered under a fake address to my stage name. You just buy a phone card when you need more minutes, so there's no way they can trace you. I also set up an email with that name as well.
The phone cost about $15. It's a crappy phone, but it helped me with business!
^^^ I have a fake stripper myspace
I try to give out email as much as possible. 2 of my regs have my phone # for texting, and I'm really starting to wish one of them didn't--constant fucking attention, man, and he's not fucking paying for it. And it seems like he's coming in less now that he has it.
When you start doing this how do you set the boundaries??
I had my 1st VIP on Friday night (the guy was totally loaded, he spent over 1000GBP without batting an eye lid) one of my 'stripper friends' ITC told me I should have got his number and tried to get him as a regular as thats what all the other girls do but I can't work out how you do this and keep them just ITC???
