congrats! i've been vegan for almost 5 months now. i had to start out with the meats/cheese replacements too. but let me tell you, you will truly begin to love the change when you go truly vegan, and try to make your diet as raw as possible. i eat mostly fresh fruits, fresh veggies, and home baked vegan breads etc. i dont buy anything processed, canned, or in any factory packaging. just organic, raw foods. my body has never felt, looked or functioned better in my entire life. you will be so happy you made this change! if you want some serious motivation to help you out on the transition, pick up a copy of Skinny Bitch by Freedman and Barnouin. It's one of my favorite books of all time.
